“The piadina are amazing along with the homemade pasta and prepared items. The Portsmouth store is much easier to access than Middletown (parking) and the staff are great. I would give 5 stars if they were open til at least 5:30pm weeknights. It’s hard to get there by 5pm and I imagine they lose quite a bit of business from those of us wanting to grab dinner on the way home from work.“

I own a really nice coffee machine and I’m still driven to go here all the time! They even offer Knead donuts and a pressed juice kiosk and amazing chocolate chip cookies along with light lunch type of snacks, everything about it is fantastic!“

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

“We just came by boat with two little kids not realizing the new fall hours. The employee working saw them peaking into the window and was so kind bringing them each out doughboy donuts. It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that truly made these two little kids day! We look forward to coming again in the spring (during hours your open)“

“Acai bowl was refreshing and wonderful! My personal take on it was that it was too frozen still when I had gotten it, so I had to wait a bit to melt before I devoured it. However, I recognize that this is to different people’s preferences so do with this information what you will. Overall both my husband and I enjoyed the bowl.

They are always willing to treat you with a smile and ask you how your day is while you wait while they make your coffee.“

“Upon walking in, there are a few seated tables to the left and a few high tops to the right. All the tables are fairly spacious. Self seating and order at the counter. They have a good variety of baked goods. Everything looked really fresh tasty. They have drink specials (lattes). We ordered D'S Country Breakfast (comes with sausage, bacon, toast and home fries), egg and cheese on English, blueberry pancakes (very fluffy and plenty of blueberries), and Sunny Toast (with avocado and there's vegemite spread on the toast). They also have cold pressed juice made to order. We got the Healthy Heart (carrot, apple, ginger). Great spot where all the locals go and for people that are visiting the area.“

Jasmine green tea was pretty good (7/10) We really liked the decaf coffee (9/10) what a treat. The regular coffee was not noteworthy, but fine. Nitro’s is much better. Great breakfast sandwich, grab and go ready!“

“I visited the Portsmouth location for the second time this morning and this is a perfect first date spot imo. The large wraparound deck is so cute & cozy, like a farmhouse porch. & the coffee 🤩 I had a tiramisu latte last time, a cherry Garcia latte this time- I was not disappointed either time, the flavors were accurate without being overwhelming or weakening the espresso, & oh so delicious. The food is even better; the attention to detail & balance of flavor in the dishes is off the charts. I recommend the avocado toast or whipped feta plate, and if you’re not into coffee, their teas and lemonades are just as amazing.“

“We were vacationing in Newport from Wisconsin and stopped in at Cappy’s. Sue the bartender was friendly and a wonderful bartender. The owner Joe, what can I say….what a guy! Joe saw us walking to our Airbnb and yelled at us on the street asking when we were headed back home. Joe is a gem of a bartender. He has a gift of gab and can hand out the bs too. Nice local establishment with friendly customers and bartenders. We had Dan as a bartender too and he was a friendly, great guy!
