“I have ordered from China Gourmet for many, many years, as long as they have had a restaurant there, Hands down they are the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever gotten food from. The food is delicious and they have never confused an order. I always get an order when we have company and everyone else is also extremely pleased! “I've been stopping in here for years since I live near by. I had to write a review tonight because my experience was above and beyond prior experiences! The food was delicious, the assorted veggies were not mushy, they were nice and crisp and there was a good amount of chicken! Also, the woman who cashed me out was very nice and pleasant! “Got the combo with 2 sides - orange chicken with white rice , sides were crab rangoon and an egg roll . A fortune cookie was included . They gave me sauce for the rangoon , and when I asked , they had my favorite packets of duck sauce ! I paid around $13 with tax .

Very similar to the food of The Golden Bowl in Barrington , RI which unfortunately closed , recently ( this post written 11/11/25 ) .

SO tasty . Orange chicken was crunchy , tender , and sweet , crab rangoon was the perfect amount of sweet , crunchy , and some crab flavor to frying perfection , egg roll had nice , umami flavors in it and a nice crunch ( eat it quick or it loses some crunch as you let it sit ) . If you ask , they'll give you extra sauce , napkins , and plastic utensils .

Left over food reheated well the next day .

Plenty of parking .

Yes , lady who helped me had a thick accent and too the point , but that's how you know the food is good !

It's a takeout Chinese food place - don't expect a glorious atmosphere cuz it's not supposed to have one . NOT gourmet food , this is QUALITY TAKEOUT FOOD !
