I've struggled with finding an Italian restaurant I'm comfortable eating at for years! Our server, Morgan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe while eating here! I would happily take the 45 minute drive down here to eat again.“

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “Been patronizing Angelo's for years (years & years) - it's my 'Go To' place in Providence for Italian. There are plenty of good Italian Restaurants but Angelo's treats you like family . My favorte server is Thera - always smiling - always friendly - and always flying around the resturant making sure everyone is happy. My recommendation - ask for her :-)“

“This was our first time dining at Mona Lisa, and def will return. It has a hip vibe upon entry, with some pulsing beats in the background. Our party of 6 includes hard of hearing friends, so this was a little bit of a challenge, but there was good energy in the dining room. Service was very attentive and the menu is eclectic. It is mostly Italian, with additional flair from Puerto Rico and Sushi. I am keto and a friend has a gluten allergy — not a problem. The kitchen accommodated us beautifully. My salmon with secret sauce was delish. The portions are very generous (you might have lunch for tomorrow). There were at least two birthday celebrations that night. Fun place to celebrate. “I’ve been here a few times for lunch, and it never disappoints. Most of the time I order the chicken parm sandwich and fries. It’s always been good, every time I’ve ordered it.
They have a pretty extensive menu of Italian-American style food. A lot of pasta, sandwiches, pizza, etc. I’d never tried the pasta, but we’ve ordered pizza before, and it’s pretty good.
Whatever I’ve ever ordered from here, no matter what, it always comes out piping-hot, which is great.
The chicken parm sandwich was no exception, the super crispy chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside, and tender and flavorful inside. It held up very well to the lava hot marinara sauce it was covered with, and the mozzarella cheese-pull was the best. This place is definitely in my rotation of chicken parm sandwich spots.
The inside of the restaurant has weird decor. I guess it’s supposed to look like somebody’s grandmothers living room. I guess it does sort of. There’s a bunch of random old photos and items on the wall that makes it look dated.
The food is usually really good though, and I will definitely be back for more chicken parms.“
