“Been coming here since their initial location in Greenville. Went to their new location and loved it. Definitely smaller, but loved the intimate setting. Especially when guests embrace the concept. It’s like you’re all experiencing dining together prompting conversation with strangers gathering for the common love of food. Love everything about this new place. Oh and the food is still phenomenal.“

“I visited solo for the first time yesterday. I arrived, stressed out from work, tired and in dire need of a month long vacation. I left relaxed, satisfied and felt like I received exactly what I needed. The waitress was very attentive to my requests- whether for a pitcher of water, or for the calamari or for other beverages. The DJ hit the mark with several reggae songs from Bob Marley to Sizzla. Not too loud for comfort either, which was a nice surprise. The calamari was cooked perfectly and a very nice portion. I wish I knew their marinara recipe. The pool was nice although a bit chilly for some, but I found it to be the perfect tonic for my body- very refreshing and invigorating . I went in five times over 6 hours. The crowd was great. I spoke to several patrons and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the beautiful sun, but it never got too crazy- just the right vibe. Honestly, I’m kicking myself for not going before- where else can you feel like you are at a pool in Vegas in RI? I honestly did not want to leave, but the evening band was setting up and checking microphones as the establishment reset itself for the evening non-pool segment of its day. This is the type of place where if you go once, you will always keep going. I give the place 5 stars across the board and my thanks! I really needed that.“

“We love to sit at the bar, and the bartenders are unbelievable busy, but stay right on top of everything! I had the most delicious steak (not shaved, either a small delmonico or rib eye) with mushrooms and cheese and ordered fried eggplant as my side ( trying to eat something a little healthy) and hubby had a Reuben sandwich with a side salad. Everything was delicious and cooked to our liking. It was great!

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“My boyfriend and I have been here many times throughout the year . This is hands down one of the best dining experiences we have ever had . Every staff that works here has incredible knowledge and confidence in what they do and the food / drinks backs it up entirely . Not only this but the price point for everything is absolutely fair and if not I think less than what it should be for the experience you get ! Best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had ! “Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Very unorganized in terms of orders, was given the wrong food twice. And server was wearing earbuds, and was unable to hear when being told they had brought the wrong order. However the food was very good so im willing to give them another shot.“

“I came here for dinner tonight for Burgers and Beers night. Did not disappoint! While I don’t drink, I did indulge in “making my own burger” which was delicious and filling. My waitress was attentive and pleasant, despite the busy lounge area. (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable (because the quality wasn’t cheap!) and tasty meal, stop in! I might make this a weekly after work ritual. “Phenomenal pork chop tenderloin, full stop! Don't mess around, someone at the table should get this dish. We had the scallops and the sea Bass as well, the pork chop is a level above these dishes.

Smoky char, tender, juicy, and you must dip in the sauce on the plate to get the full experience. This is a must have entree at The New Rivers restaurant.

Baked Alaska was good and we enjoyed the Corn cake with corn ice cream.“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“
