“Been coming here since their initial location in Greenville. Went to their new location and loved it. Definitely smaller, but loved the intimate setting. Especially when guests embrace the concept. It’s like you’re all experiencing dining together prompting conversation with strangers gathering for the common love of food. Love everything about this new place. Oh and the food is still phenomenal.“

“We love to sit at the bar, and the bartenders are unbelievable busy, but stay right on top of everything! I had the most delicious steak (not shaved, either a small delmonico or rib eye) with mushrooms and cheese and ordered fried eggplant as my side ( trying to eat something a little healthy) and hubby had a Reuben sandwich with a side salad. Everything was delicious and cooked to our liking. It was great!

“We go to Chillis often, the Server Melissa is very friendly, accommodating and extremely attentive. We are always so impressed, many of the fine dining restaurants we frequent should have servers like her. She makes sure our orders are done the way we like them, while she’s running around greeting, cleaning and checking on tables! \nNice to see the Fajitas are being done with red peppers 🌶️ rather than all green again. Ribs were great! \nSide Salads with Avocado Ranch, excellent!“

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

Every staff that works here has incredible knowledge and confidence in what they do and the food / drinks backs it up entirely . “Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Very unorganized in terms of orders, was given the wrong food twice. And server was wearing earbuds, and was unable to hear when being told they had brought the wrong order. However the food was very good so im willing to give them another shot.“

“I came here for dinner tonight for Burgers and Beers night. Did not disappoint! While I don’t drink, I did indulge in “making my own burger” which was delicious and filling. My waitress was attentive and pleasant, despite the busy lounge area. (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable (because the quality wasn’t cheap!) and tasty meal, stop in! I might make this a weekly after work ritual. “The food and atmosphere during our latest visit to New Rivers were both excellent, as expected. It was the service that really stood out on this visit. When we arrived, the hostess kindly made sure we sat at the table she selected for us, rather than the bar as we requested, because she selected the best table in the restaurant for us. From there, our server struck the perfect tone. Warm, hospitable, discreet, and attentive, she made sure that we were able to keep the night about us, rather than her service. She seemed to anticipate our needs, never interrupting at an awkward moment or lingering too long. We enjoyed a leisurely, intimate meal gazing at the city's twinkling lights. The food was, as always, excellent, a wonderful expression of seasonal New England fare, presented artfully. My favorites were the pumpkin hummus with crunchy root vegetables, which a perfectly refreshing, sensual way to start the meal. The scallops were also great, presented with a knockout green sauce and some perfectly-cooked potatoes and green beans. Highly recommended - get a reservation, skip lunch, invite the best conversationalists you know and tuck in for a great meal.“

After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“Little whole in the wall diner that is very dated , crowded and could use a little bit of a face lift. Not a lot though or it would loose the diner vibe .

Their food is good , my husband loves their biscuits and gravy .
The prices are fair . The staff seems friendly . On Sunday mornings it is fast paced !!
Dated resturaunt , good food and fair prices !! Come on those sometimes are the things we love about dinners .

My only complaint
Management really needs ti make the waitresses out their hair back . The girl with the beautiful long dark brown hair brushed several dishes with her hair that were waiting on the counter to be served....so that is a problem“
