Evan and the whole staff treated me with such kindness as I was dining by myself in the busy summer season the mussels were amazing ! “We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! Joe saw us walking to our Airbnb and yelled at us on the street asking when we were headed back home. Joe is a gem of a bartender. He has a gift of gab and can hand out the bs too. “Had the extreme pleasure of popping in this morning to try NY Fresh Bagel & Bakery and meet Md, oh my goodness these bagel are delicious, soft and chewy and so good! I got the Asiago cheese bagel with the from scratch homemade scallion cream cheese and I can honestly say this was the best bagel I have ever had. We also tried his fresh squeezed orange juice that was pure heaven and his homemade tuna and that was amazing too, it has a bit of a slow heat kick as you eat it, truly worth the trip as you won’t be disappointed! 100 % recommend. Run don’t walk, support local not a chain and I promise this will become your new favorite bagel spot! Def is ours now!
