“Waterdog was one of our stops while bar hopping in Warren this past Saturday night. We only went for cocktails and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere up on the top floor! Very eclectic but it works! The outdoor space is deceiving compared to the inside. If they were open after 10pm, we would have gone back! The food looks amazing and will definitely go back to try it out!“

“Do not live here if you care about your car. On two separate occasions my car was vandalized and my roommates car was stolen from the off street parking. The landlords have done nothing to improve the security.“

“Classic dark interior low lighting cocktail lounge. Our party of four enjoyed a mix of cocktails and a couple of beers at reasonable prices. Only a brief visit on this occasion as it was the one for the road as they say but would definitely return when I have more time.“

“Walking in is a vibe on its own, not to many restaurants have that. It almost feels like your not even in Providence anymore.Started off with some apps, i got the Spicy Shrimp( the sauce on the shrimp was very very good!) and the calamari. I personally dipped my calamari in the spicy shrimp sauce but thats a conversation for a different day.Unfortunately i didn’t get to have my drink in a flamingo or a lil piggy but thats ok. The drinks were very good!The Chicken Milanese was a bit too thin (my opinion) but it was good.The steak was cooked to perfection, the mushroom risotto was very very good too. Im definitely getting the tomahawk next time i come.“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“I was a big fan of Bayberry Beer Hall and I'll be honest and say I didn't have big expectations for CRU. However, I've been there several times for dinner and brunch and every time I've come away extremely pleased with my experience. The food is really good, the menu changes seasonally, and hits that sweet spot of having many choices that feel healthy but also delicious. The price is very reasonable for the quality as well. Drinks are great, with some good cocktails and solid beer list. Service has also been great as well.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“So, last night I needed to have a business meeting with a business partner that wanted to stay out of downtown after working all day in the city. We chose Hangry Kitchen, just 6 minutes from downtown. So much that I could say about the meal. But I will summarize it. I asked if I could get a side of tomato juice for my beer. (Yeah beer and tomato juice is amazing). They did not have any canned or bottled tomato juice. THEY JUICED SOME TOMATOS! The rest of the meal was just as memorable. Check them out (in between food truck visits)!“

“I've worked in Restaurants since 16 years old and this is the best food I've had in decades. The Ratatouille is a perfectly light pasta substitute, The burger jam's sweetness contrasted the rest of the meal amazingly. Will come back every time I'm in Providence!“

“Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “Got an order to go. Everything was so fresh. Best Guac & Salsa ever! The veggie Burrito was huge and so fresh & delicious! The fish tacos that my friend ordered was the best she has ever had! Even ordered margaritas to go & they gave us a full bag of ice & freshly made margarita’s that they poured in a bottle! This place is a hidden gem! Sometimes these hidden gems that seem to be a “hole in the wall” are the absolute best! This is one of those places! Definitely recommend!“

“We just came by boat with two little kids not realizing the new fall hours. The employee working saw them peaking into the window and was so kind bringing them each out doughboy donuts. It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that truly made these two little kids day! We look forward to coming again in the spring (during hours your open)“

“After riding bikes over the Henderson Bridge from Providence, we stopped in for lunch. There wasn’t a bike rack, but there was a long fence next to the parking lot that made locking up the bikes easy.

We each ordered the blue plate, which looking around the restaurant, seems to be a popular choice among diners. The server allowed us to substitute tenders in place of the fried thigh and drumstick for the blue plate. I ordered my tenders with the honey Cholula flavor and blue cheese sauce. My partner ordered the Nashville hot flavor with truffle mayo. Both were great, but I’d recommend ordering the Nashville hot or Spicy flavors with blue cheese in retrospect.

For sides, we tried the collard greens, cheesy cheddar grits, corn bread with honey butter, and pulled pork baked beans. All were very good. The cornbread was a good choice because it can serve as a dessert at the end of the meal. The grits and baked beans were both excellent as spreads in the Texas toast that comes with the blue plate. If you order the collard greens, note that it has a pretty intense (almost smoky) flavor and lots of bacon, so be sure that you like both. The creamed corn sweet potato tater tots were popular choices among other customers while we were there.

This is the perfect restaurant if you’re in the mood for fried chicken and Southern food. Bring your appetite because the food is filling; I was glad to hop back on our bikes and do some more exercise after lunch!“

“Our first time to the restaurant for brunch. the menu attracted us because of the authenticity of the offerings, especially the varenika, which is a very old recipe that's almost lost and forgotten. Food was excellent! as well the Greek coffee and a very pleasant owner. Will be back for the Greek wine and dinner. Well done!“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“It's great to see the Xo Bar open again! It was always one of our top lounges to go to back in the early 2000s! Now its even better with the new hang out lounge area! It's so hard to find a nice place with cozy couches in RI. It has a great set up and friendly service! We will be back!!“

Coq au vin delicious slightly heavy on salt pork but worthy of trying. Hard when you compare to the oldest restaurant in Paris. The ambiance is lovely.“

I’m more of a vodka drinker but the beer selection was incredible and our waiter helped me pick the perfect wheat beer! 100% I’d go back (when in town). A definite 2 thumbs up!“

“What do I recommend….Absolutely everything ! This is the Italian restaurant experience everyone should have. You’re treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to our table looked and tasted like the main ingredient is love. If you are fortunate enough to go when Mama’s stuffed squash flowers are on the specials menu, you better try them. Isabella our waitress was absolutely amazing.
