Even ordered margaritas to go & they gave us a full bag of ice & freshly made margarita’s that they poured in a bottle! This place is a hidden gem! Sometimes these hidden gems that seem to be a “hole in the wall” are the absolute best! This is one of those places! Definitely recommend!“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“A very chill and relaxing place to hangout with friends. Located behind a semi fake lingerie shop, this speakeasy style bar had great drinks and seat to lounge in and hang out with friends. The only downside being a short menu of food, but I still recommend the cheese plate. Just be aware it has a dark and moody ambiance to bring a flashlight/phone light.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

It almost feels like your not even in Providence anymore.Started off with some apps, i got the Spicy Shrimp( the sauce on the shrimp was very very good!) and the calamari. I personally dipped my calamari in the spicy shrimp sauce but thats a conversation for a different day.Unfortunately i didn’t get to have my drink in a flamingo or a lil piggy but thats ok. The drinks were very good!The Chicken Milanese was a bit too thin (my opinion) but it was good.The steak was cooked to perfection, the mushroom risotto was very very good too. Im definitely getting the tomahawk next time i come.“

“A girlfriend and I tried Honeybird when it had opened. Small but beautifully modern. We tried the fried green tomatoes, the pierogis and the hot chicken boa buns. All were very tasty, juicy and flavorful. We sat at the bar and had adequate services, they weren't neglectful nor overbearing just not as personable as I'm used to while sitting at a bar. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

“It is a very busy place, karaoke every night, but, through it all they push through. The food is quicker than you think but not made lazily. Multiple areas, a small game room, outdoor space. Great place for aspiring singers to try some covers and practice also get stream time.

I’m more of a vodka drinker but the beer selection was incredible and our waiter helped me pick the perfect wheat beer! 100% I’d go back (when in town). A definite 2 thumbs up!“

“Just tried this charming spot on Thursday and have fallen in love with the drinks, atmosphere, and service. The location is prime (right on South Main) and the inside is cozy, full of character, and gives off speakeasy vibes. The woman who welcomed and served us was more than willing to answer any questions about the drink menu, which had the perfect mix of cocktails (ranging from fruity to herbal and beyond), beer and wine. We ordered the Limoncello Spritz and punch — both tasted AMAZING, plus were poured into pretty glassware (aka making this place a hotspot for IG-worthy pics, which our hostess also advised us on regarding best lighting!). All in all, The Walnut Room is PVD’s newest gem and offers stunning, safe (remember: wear your mask!) service and space, which makes these not-so-normal times feel pretty special. “Probably the best Easter Brunch we've had in years! The two of us were seated right on time for our 2pm reservation at a spacious 4 top and served water quickly. Kris our server was bright and attentive throughout the dining experience! We started delicious iced tea and an order of Pâté de Champagne with pickled vegetables, cornichons, arugula, and slices of grilled country bread, followed by their velvety cauliflower soup with crispy capers! Wonderful! We both chose their unique eggs Benedict served over a nest of country ham and potato latkes! We finished our repast with coffee and a shared crepe dessert filled with lemon ricotta and berries. Outstanding! All of our food was piping hot and delivered in perfect timing from appetizer to dessert. The classic French Bistro style dining room is always warm and inviting filled with natural light, a great neighborhood view out the windows and wonderful artwork throughout! Check was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served, and we included an extra 5% to the standard 20% included in the check for exceptional service from every staff member who attended us. We may have to make this a yearly tradition!“
