“We just had a surprise Dinner Party for my Husband at Coral. Jen could not have helped me more setting up the plans for a surprise evening!! She helped me pre-order Appetizers and Dessert. She was very quick with responses to all of my questions and made helpful suggestions to me. Our table ordered Sea Food, Lamb, and Vegetarian Dishes and everyone was beautifully presented and delicious. The Appetizers looked like they belonged in a magazine and were delicious as well! We could not have been more pleased with our experience. This was about the fourth time at Coral and it is hands down our favorite place to dine in Greenville, SC! “We hadn’t been for a while and went Wednesday night. Sat at the bar as usual and had fun chat with people around us. The bartenders are efficient and make excellent cocktails. To start we shared the wedge salad. It was very fresh with lots of bacon and blue cheese. Wife went for the salmon which is excellent there. I am not a huge salmon fan,but this is the only restaurant that I will order it. I went with the chicken Marsala. It was a little different take on this meal and was excellent. Super comfort food. We’ll do our best not to let too much time pass before returning.“

“Arrived 10 minutes early had our booth ready. Temperature of the room was good. Food was great. Had lobster stuffed shrimp. Generous portion, 6 shrimp, vegetable and rice. All delicious. In addition, enjoyed their corn chowder and lobster soup. All in all a very enjoyable dinning experience.“

“This place is amazing! The food is extremely fresh and you have so many options to choose from to create your most perfect poke bowl. They have Signature Bowls you can choose from if you aren’t trying to make all those decisions in your first poke bowl experience. The gentleman that helped us was extremely helpful and really wanted us to enjoy our experience there by allowing us complete control of what we created as our meal. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! P.S they have the best Mochi Ice Cream ever. Like it melts in your mouth, not all chewy like a “dumpling” as the gentleman explained which I could totally understand because I have experienced that in mochi ice creams i have consumed in my past. “My family of 6 decided on this place because of the outside dining and the playground! We couldn’t have choose a better dinner! The kids had fun with the shark drinks and the make your own sundae’s to complete the dinner! As adults we could sit back and enjoy our drinks and dinner while the kids kept busy with the playground! “We finished a five day trip to Greenville by having dinner at Soby's. It was packed on a Friday night serving up their "reimagined" Southern Fare. Ordinarily, I would dive in and tell you about all the great food, instead I want to give props to the two line cooks working the Grill and Sautée stations in the kitchen. Our table on the second level looked right down the back (cooking) line. If you've watched The Bear television series you get to see a dramatized version of how a commercial kitchen operates. At Soby's we saw these two guys in action. A nine-steak order at four different temps, no problem. They mowed through an average of 9-10 tickets on the "rail" all night with God knows how many orders per ticket. Great job. Great job indeed! We started our dinner with the Mussles Mariniere sautéed in a bacon, leeks, Manzanilla sherry, cream. So good. I wish the chef would serve four pieces of toast with the dish so you could soak up more of the sauce. I had to try the She Crab Soup, as it is one of my favorites, and Soby's version with aged sherry bowled me over. For our entrees, our server suggested a combination of half portions of their Shrimp and Grits and Crab Cakes. Apparently my wife is not the only one who couldn't decide between the two, and thus a special was born. The crab cakes had a sweet corn maque choux and were served with haricots verts and a mashed potatoes, remoulade. From words on a menu to executed perfection it was a perfect blend of flavors. The shrimp and grits were good, not the best we have ever had, but again perfectly prepared. My entrée was the Braised Beef Short Rib served with mashed potatoes and a Black Garlic Molasses Jus. I watched my dudes on the line make over 20 of these before mine arrived at the table. Fork-tender, the meat had a great depth of flavor from its long journey of preparation. I ate every bite, OK except for the payback bites to my wife for sampling her special. We finished dinner with a piece of their Limoncello Cheese cake followed espressos and Ameretto. Our waitress was perfect all evening. She had a very busy section, but kept the coursing of dinner moving in a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed. Before I end, a word about wine at Soby's. When you arrive at the table, you are given a wine tome. Not a sheet of paper or a wine list you are used to seeing in most establishments. This was a tomb, bound in a metal cover. Soby's owner is a vinophile and has amassed over 2500 wines on the list, that is always changing as choices are enjoyed and more added. It really is quite a stunning list. So get you some Soby's if you're in town. It was a wonderful experience. You too can enjoy food bliss“

“WOW! What a WONDERFUL restaurant in downtown Greenville!! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous meal last night. We started with the lobster bisque and an order of hushpuppies which were both great. The crawfish etouffee and redfish stir fry entrees were generous portions and the beignets were the perfect ending after a fabulous meal. I loved that the waitress had a good concept of the menu to recommend my dish and she gave us a sample of the bisque before we ordered. The chef came by to see if everything was good. We WILL be back!“

Our bartender was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, every drink was made perfectly and came with great conversation and genuine hospitality. The oysters were an absolute hit! (So were the margaritas)

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the for brunch a day later, and somehow it was even better. The drinks were fresh and creative, and the service made us feel like regulars. It’s rare to find someone who can elevate both dinner and brunch so flawlessly.

Followed up by the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection, and possibly the most flavorful steak I’d ever eaten. “We come here almost every month on a Sunday and we took my mom here 3-4 times when she was here visiting from the Philippines. Today, it was just me, my husband and my kids as my mom already went back home. The server immediately asked and mentioned my mom (saying something like Mama is not here today?). It was really sweet and impressive that they recognized and noticed the customers. Plus the food is really good, my youngest daughter always asks after church to come here for fried fish. This restaurant Golden Llama has an amazing Rotissery chicken , crispy, juicy and good flavor with the Peruvian salsas, and the Ceviche has the authentic Peruvian touch with corns originally from Peru, the fish was so tasty and juicy, and also this place has an outstanding staff, wonderful costumer service and delivery of food is promptly therefore I am give 100 starts to this authentic and wonderful Restaurant in Greenville SC.“

The service was excellent, seated quickly, orders taken promptly, waiter was very attentive and good spirited, our orders arrived fast with no problems. “Our family discovered this fabulous restaurant today and we were so pleased! We were greeted warmly and invited in. We ordered some lemonade that was delicious and refreshing, the margaritas were fresh and a generous pour. The queso dip was tasty and the chips crispy and fresh. The Mayan quesadilla delectable, the Aztec soup filled with chicken and a savory broth, fish tacos are fabulous and the shrimp cocktail had plenty of jumbo shrimp and such a unique warm presentation.
