“Ordered a Chicken wrap and large Italian! Got home and had received a Chicken BBQ sandwich! Went back with both orders as the Italian was so soggy on the bottom! Did get the wrap but they did nothing about the soggy bread Italian! Go here often and this experience is not typical of Firehouse!“

Thomas and Mary Katherine explained each course and where the ingredients came from. The atmosphere was warm and personal; we entered as strangers and left with new friends.“

“Visited today, 5:55pm, Walked in the door, two girls working, neither greeted me, said hello or anything. After I decided what I wanted, one of them finally asked what I wanted. Ordered my sandwich and said that I would be getting chips and a drink. She told me that they didn't have fountain drinks only bottles. “I have eaten here a few times. The chicken salad is great! The croissant each time is a bit dry. I switched to their wheat bread, which was better. The quality of their chicken salad is amazing. So flavorful! The lettuce and tomato are fresh. The cute little cookie you get just ordering a sandwich was a nice treat! I’ve tried the broccoli cheddar soup, that is very cheesy and tasty. The pasta salad was kind of bland and a super small portion but that’s ok. They have lots of options to figure out what you like. The price is not bad if you just do the sandwich, less than $10. My favorite is the Kickin’ Kay Lynne. The sriracha is a nice touch! The cranberry Kelly is good too! That one reminds me of cape cod chicken salad like back home. This place is always packed but the staff is always nice and get you in and out pretty quickly. My new favorite lunch spot!“

“We have been regularly coming here for years, always consistently good food. Today I had my usual nacho basket, for some reason the jalapeños are now dumped on top of the chips, I suppose for presentation. problem is that the juice makes the chips soggy. this might seem petty but there's nothing worse than soggy chips. also the cheese sauce was brown and clumpy, like it was old. this was my first bad meal. please go back to the peppers in a cup and a nice fresh creamy cheese sauce. thanks!“

“Sandwich is decent, good size, fresh condiments. Fresh Tea. However, every now and then, my husband and I have received our sandwich on wheat bread slices that were drying out due to being exposed to air. The bread container was not properly closed, which would protect the bread, keeping it fresh. This place has amazing deals, making it very affordable.“

They seem like people who are truly interested in humanity and worldly events. They donate to the Cancer society and the search for a cure for cancer. Which is pretty awesome. “Great place to stop and get lunch while on or visiting campus… Store is always clean, staff is always friendly, and they just make you feel welcome… The manager, Charlie, is always super friendly, laughing and joking with all the customers. She even had her little nephew, Kingston, in with her. He was wiping tables in his little Jersey Mike’s uniform… He was cute as he could be, with a huge grin on his face, (much better spokesperson/mascot than Danny DiVito ???). I ordered the Chipotle Cheese Steak with onions, and peppers. It was very delicious and they don't short you on the steak, and toppings. I also had their 5 piece tenders and fries. The tenders were fresh, hot, and delicious!

“I live in Charlotte, but whenever I am near Columbia I stop at Roly Poly for a wrap!My favorite regular menu item is the Huevos Rancheors (‘egg roly’). My all time favorite menu item is the #9 Thanksgiving roly (this year I made a special trip to get this sandwich while it was available in November). The food is always fresh, and seasoned with a unique combination of spices, sauces and dips. And somehow, despite being so large and so delicious, the rolys are only a few hundred calories each.The shop is run by a kind gentleman named Dave, who always takes time to welcome and talk with customers. I highly recommend Roly Poly and am already thinking about my next trip there!“
