“I dont even know where to start! 10 out of 10! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and clean! The menu wasn't overly done, so I didn't get stressed trying to navigate it or decide. We went for the chefs choice dinner, but because it is restaurant week they didn't offer it, so I went with the menu that is offered for restaurant week my husband ordered off the regular menu and we shared everything! Because it was our anniversary they brought us a complimentary tuna appetizer and a beautiful dessert at the end. ( again both amazing!) The staff worked together beautifully, helping each other deliver food and drinks, each member knew exactly how everything was prepared and explained it with beautiful detail. Not one thing we ate or drank was bad, NOT ONE! Definitely impressed and will be back soon! Ask for Dasha, such a sweetheart! Thank you for making our anniversary memorable 💖“

We are from New Jersey and had the pleasure of having dined with on the delicacies created by Tim at our local sushi restaurant and are jealous that folks in Charleston have access to this great restaurant. From the moment you step through the hidden entrance, you know you're in for something special. The intimate chef's counter, the interaction with the sushi chefs, and the attention to every detail make the entire evening feel personal.

The 17-course omakase was exceptional. Every course built on the last, showcasing incredible seafood, flawless technique, and creative flavor combinations( we opted out of the caviar and truffles but I can only imagine that took it to the next leve)l without ever feeling overdone. The pacing was perfect, and each dish was explained in a way that made you appreciate the craftsmanship even more.

Charleston has no shortage of great restaurants, but Sushi Bar has created something truly unique. It's the kind of place you book for a celebration, an anniversary, or simply because you appreciate world-class food and hospitality.

“My mom took me here after eating two slices of pizza and I was already full until my sister ordered me California rolls and I still ate it because it’s the best! I love it! “The food was decent but order was wrong. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a seaweed salad & chicken fried rice for carry out. Instead of a seaweed salad I got a bowl with iceberg lettuce topped with avocado (house salad maybe?). Instead of the chicken fried rice I received a teriyaki chicken bowl. It all tasted good except I was disappointed in the Angry Dragon Roll I received - it has mango in it but the mango in the roll was so under ripe you couldn’t even tell what it was & it was very hard. I ordered this on a Wednesday night and it was dead inside when I picked it up. If I give them another chance I’ll definitely be checking the order before walking out with it.“

“I have been looking for some Great Hibachi in Charleston since I got here last year…. Hands down this is where it is at! They give great portions and the food is seasoned and cooked to perfection. They have tasty hibachi veggies as well as amazing real sticky rice! I am so happy I decided to stop! Don’t let the non updated appearance fool you. This is definitely a great spot ! Ten ten I would recommend and I definitely will be back again!“

“I love this place and the food is always great. I come here all the time. I tried going today at 7:30 PM and the 2 guys behind the counter said they were closed and wouldn’t take my order. The service is normally pretty good, so this was disappointing. So to the owner, your guys are refusing business to close up early“

“Best Orange chicken I eat your once a week It’s never different consistency is key orange chicken with great flavor. Fried rice is phenomenal. It’s 10 minutes from my gym. I call and it’s perfectly ready every time I get there. You can’t beat this place everything good though egg rolls too chefs kids“

“Really good sushi deals and to me the sushi is good, otherwise food is up to your individual taste. Prices are not bad. Their white sauce is watery mayonnaise. Someone must like it but noone I know likes it. Rice is ok, but I don't care for it. Food isn't bad at all, I guess I just compare it to yokoso and I love their rice and stuff. Smaller dine in area, can be hot inside, but i get hot easily so not sure. People are always nice.“

“Bushido has a level of food quality that is consistently and regularly, without fail, always always and forever SO GOOD. Anything I have ever gotten has been delicious, from the first bite to the final licking of my chopsticks just in case I missed anything. Thank you for being so great! I admit I am a bit addicted and get Bushido at least once a week, but why wouldn’t I? Sushi, hibachi, crab Rangoon, you name it, and it will be delicious on a level that you can only comprehend when you try yourself. DO IT!“
