This isn't the place. If you want to push the limits of taste and pairings in the beloved format of a sandwich this is the guy. I can't describe the sandwiches he makes but i assure you that you've never had a better one. One man show and he is just the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Makes you feel like an old friend. “The only issue I have is that new guy on the grill making the hot subs—he messes up my sub EVERY SINGLE TIME! How hard is it to follow a ticket? The young ladies who take the order write down exactly what I ask for, but as soon as it gets to him, it’s like he decides, “Screw it, I’ll do what I want!” Who does that? I’m beyond frustrated! “A big shout out to the four ladies behind the counter, who helped me on a hot steamy day. My grandson craved a cheesesteak after surgery at children’s hospital. “I like the Subway at Citadel Mall in West Ashley. They are a good Subway in just about every aspect and the location is perfect inside the mall, but still enclosed and separate from the food court area. They are consistent in their quality and sandwich artistry and I have always had excellent sandwiches every time that I have been here. The staff here is cool and listens well.“

“This place has the best hot subs around. Every time I go there I have tried a different sandwich and I have loved everyone of them.. they are reasonably priced and affordable. Most if the employees were wonderful at this location. The older woman who took our order and money was not nice at all.. it seemed like she does not like working with the public and should be in a different career field but what ever.. luckily we were done with her after we paid for our order.. “I usually don't have anything to say good when it comes down to subway but this subway definitely changes the narrative the subway worker who is female when approaching her I was sure it was going to be a bad customer service situation she had on shades and her face wasn't pleasant but when she started preparing our sandwiches the level of professionalism that was displayed was top tier she was definitely the true phase of don't judge a book but it's cover. She made those sandwiches with true love and you can tell she really enjoys her job . If all subways employees were like this they would definitely get better reviews . This young lady deserves a raise for sure my family member has been in the hospital for quite some time and to be honestly I only eat there when she works. Btw I believe her name is leslie.. as I call her the coolest subway worker with the shades“

“I have not had Subway in years due to a few bad experiences and the rise of Jersey Mikes, but there are some things you just can't get at other chains. For myself, it is the sweet onion chicken teriyaki. A few months ago, I gave this location a shot...Hands down, one of the most consistent and friendly experiences I think I've ever had at a fast food joint (the first time and the 4 or 5 times since). Sauce and condiments are inside the bread where they belong when I get home to eat. No pic as I barely got the car in park when I got home to eat...“

I spent the hour oy, I arrived at 7:30, they are the only one open, How strange, but they were busy.
As always, the sandwich came out delicious and the service was professional.
