“Make sure you get here before 12pm or he will sell out. Sandwich’s rotate every day so there’s always something new to try. If you check his Instagram you can usually check to see if he is open because Ive showed up plenty of times to find out that he was not open that day. These are exotic sandwiches so don’t show up if your a Plain Jane“

“This place was a madhouse on a Saturday afternoon, but for very good reason. The setup is a bit disorientating at first, but makes sense; you order at the glass first, where they’re making the sandwiches, get a ticket to pay at the register, and then wait anywhere you can stand. Dining is standing room only as well, but we did choose to dine in.

The bread used for the sandwiches is an incredible focaccia, golden crisp but soft on the inside. The ingredients are fresh: tomato, basil, olive oil, pear, pesto, and mozzarella. The prosciutto is cut while you watch on an old fashioned crank driven deli slicer. The staff is working over time serving up dozens of sandwiches including their porchetta with horseradish.

We topped it off with some cannoli and Peligrino. Everyone was very polite (customers and staff), and the management did check to ensure you were enjoying the food if you decided to dine in.“

“The only issue I have is that new guy on the grill making the hot subs—he messes up my sub EVERY SINGLE TIME! How hard is it to follow a ticket? The young ladies who take the order write down exactly what I ask for, but as soon as it gets to him, it’s like he decides, “Screw it, I’ll do what I want!” Who does that? I’m beyond frustrated! I’ll probably go back because the place is decent otherwise, but I am DONE ordering hot subs unless I can stand there and personally supervise this guy messing with my food!!!“

“The customer service provided by Russell and his team was phenomenal. I placed a large online order for a work function and chose for it to be delivered. Russ called me as the Uber Eats Direct system was putting a 3 hour timeline on it but he was able to do the order right then. I asked him to prepare it and I would either come get it myself or see if Uber Eats would update the system. Since the system did not update and would still wait the 2.5 hours to deliver, I went to pick it up myself. When i returned to the hotel to divvy out the order, we realized a sandwich was missing. I called the store to ask them prepare the missing sandwich as I was on my way to pick it up- they asked what hotel and Russ delivered it personally. Minus the UberEats merchant system issues, I appreciate the excellent customer service that Russ and the team provided me. Wonderful!“

“I like the Subway at Citadel Mall in West Ashley. They are a good Subway in just about every aspect and the location is perfect inside the mall, but still enclosed and separate from the food court area. They are consistent in their quality and sandwich artistry and I have always had excellent sandwiches every time that I have been here. The staff here is cool and listens well.“

“A big shout out to the four ladies behind the counter, who helped me on a hot steamy day. My grandson craved a cheesesteak after surgery at children’s hospital. He wasn’t able to eat the first one so I went back three days later to the same shop, and these same ladies gave me yet another cheese steak on the house! Love you guys we are coming back!“

Every time we place a to go order at this location it is incorrect. Every single time! Beware if you place a to go order inspect all sandwiches before you leave as there is a 99% chance something is wrong. Guaranteed. I will be heading back in the morning for a refund of my order and tip as nobody will answer the phones.“

“I have not had Subway in years due to a few bad experiences and the rise of Jersey Mikes, but there are some things you just can't get at other chains. For myself, it is the sweet onion chicken teriyaki. A few months ago, I gave this location a shot...Hands down, one of the most consistent and friendly experiences I think I've ever had at a fast food joint (the first time and the 4 or 5 times since). Sauce and condiments are inside the bread where they belong when I get home to eat. No pic as I barely got the car in park when I got home to eat...“
