“As a man of the industry myself and logistically speaking this place must be a nightmare to run. I can't imagine how big the trucks are. Or how massive their walkin and freezer must be. But yall that got AYCE crab legs. A huge buffet with other stuff but I'm on my 7th plate of snow crab. No shame at all. There is an army of servers and bussers. Lord knows how many people must work in the kitchen. All in all it is a well oiled machine. That I encourage people to try. They have a full bar. So eat drink and be alive. Then sink slowly into the food coma you only payed $50 for. Now for the nail in my coffin the sweet stuff. The also have merchandise too.“

“Absolutely the best fish dinner in the area. We've been here 14 years and shame on us for waiting this long to eat here. We ordered the seafood dinner from the early bird menu. More than enough food. The fried seafood was light, abundant and delicious. Charles was the bartender (been there 30 year) and he was friendly, quick and very knowledgeable about the establishment. We love to hear about local history and he had a lot to offer. The side salad and homemade blue cheese dressing was amazing. French fries were perfectly crisp. The only down was no habenero pineapple margarita available but the regular margarita was delicious. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.“

“I have been going to Hanser House for years. Always consistent,
I enjoy their salads , They still have baked potatoes on the menu and food is always good. Obviously, for the previous review- it is in SC so I order appropriately. I wouldn't order flounder in Maine so I've never had a lobster in SC. Go for the shrimp or grouper or their chowder always good.

“The food in Surfside is very good and service is as well, but, check for hidden fees and wrong prices. A side salad is an up charge of $2.50 as a side which we were not informed. I ordered a $10 drink during happy hour but was charged $14.90. So check before you order and check your ticket. Other than that you will enjoy the meal.“

“The service was great . The only issue we had was with a party of 8 everyone’s food was too salty. I’m not one who is light on salt so for me to say salty …it was salty . A couple of the people couldn’t even eat their meal due to so much salt . It may been an off night for whoever was preparing the meals. Everything else was great .“

“I visited Kimbels for a wedding. The weather was fantastic and glad it was because the wedding was held on the bluffs. Such a beautiful setting. Appetizers were served to us by wandering waiters in an outside tent along with a bar and band. After the ceremony and wedding pix ... the people went inside where there were 4 food stations. So good. After we got our fill ... we went back outside under the tent to dance. It couldn't have been better!“

“The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers.The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.“

“creek Ratz is a fun place with great service, friendly bartenders and delicious food.but eliminate the smoking outside!!!! Most other places on the Marsh have NO SMOKING outside. Please do the same for loyal customers. Nothing worse than enjoying a beverage and food and someone comes along and lights up. We are not the only ones who feel this way. Smokers can always walk down the the walkway and smoke. JMO,“
