“Myself, my daughter (then aged 5, she's 7 now), my mom, and sister went there for the very first time when we were vacationing in Myrtle Beach back in July 2023, and we absolutely LOVED it!! A bit pricey, but soooo worth it. The food and everything, was so awesome!! My daughter, absolutely LOVED seeing the mermaid, and the rest of us did, too!! We've never seen that sort of thing before, in a restaurant, so it's different. 🤗😄❤️“

I had the special, which was fresh caught red snapper topped with shrimp, crab and scallops in a cream sauce with a balsamic drizzle, paired with pureed cauliflower and roasted veggies... wow! It was amazing! Husband had the ribeye with fried Mac & Cheese and veggies, delicious!! Also had a refreshing cocktail from the menu which was a blueberry basil lemonade. 100% would recommend! “This restaurant has the best French fries that I have ever eaten. The portions are huge. The catfish is unbelievable as is the cole slaw. The service was very quick and very nice. Not to mention the wonderful view of the ocean from our indoor table. I only wish that this was the first day of my trip and not the last. “You can't go to Myrtle Beach and not stop here to eat. We love the variety. The staff Is great. Everyone is friendly. There is always a line but it goes quickly. Once inside you are treated like royalty. The food is kept fresh . This is the best buffet around. Meats, seafood, desserts. Love it!“

“The food in Surfside is very good and service is as well, but, check for hidden fees and wrong prices. A side salad is an up charge of $2.50 as a side which we were not informed. I ordered a $10 drink during happy hour but was charged $14.90. So check before you order and check your ticket. Other than that you will enjoy the meal.“

“u can't order anything bad just be prepared for the check. Ours was almost 200$ for 4 we my main man eat like 2 dozen oysters on a half shell. we had crab legs, shrimp and about anything else w locally brewed beer. superfriendly atmosphere. Definitely worth every penny. if you've not had lobster before though get it from somewhere that has them live and the meat hasn't been frozen was the only thing but it was one of the best experiences I've had Goin out to eat. loved it“

“Great places to come get some food with friends or family. Other reviews don’t seem to accurately describe this place. The teriyaki chicken lettuce wraps were so good! The wings are true to the name and are jumbo in size, we got buffalo and garlic parm and it was good. Only thing that we didn’t like is that the cocktails were expensive so we didn’t try them.“

“The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers.The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.“

“I visited Kimbels for a wedding. The weather was fantastic and glad it was because the wedding was held on the bluffs. Such a beautiful setting. Appetizers were served to us by wandering waiters in an outside tent along with a bar and band. After the ceremony and wedding pix ... the people went inside where there were 4 food stations. So good. After we got our fill ... we went back outside under the tent to dance. It couldn't have been better!“

“The service was great . The only issue we had was with a party of 8 everyone’s food was too salty. I’m not one who is light on salt so for me to say salty …it was salty . A couple of the people couldn’t even eat their meal due to so much salt . It may been an off night for whoever was preparing the meals. Everything else was great .“
