“Just left and felt compelled to post a recommendation. We sat outside with our puppy. A bowl of water was immediately brought to him. The grit bowl was so good. But let me tell you about this pineapple upside down cake cocktail 🤤. The best drink I’ve had in my 43 years! We will definitely be back!“

“Amazing food! Love the egg rolls! Been here twice from Savannah, GA and this place has NOT disappointed me! Desserts are delicious, you cant go wrong as well as the pineapple jalapeño margarita! Next time I will try the Award Winning Shrimp and Grits. The honey salmon was soooo good, too!“

“The service and food were excellent today. Oscars rarely disappoints. My only issue is the surcharge for using a credit card. Now the menu prices were all high as most so I have to ask how cheesy for Oscars to embarrass this establishment by noting this increase on my receipt. Guys this is a premium dining establishment. Pinching more $ I think should we embarrassing to proprietor. Stop this! If you don't have your menu costed correctly that's your problem to figure out.“

“All of the customers were greeted with a Chilly Bear. This instantly brought back great childhood memories. An amazing southern restaurant for everyone. Come if you want a great soul food dinner. The ones that your mother, grandmother or favorite aunt use to make. Always seasoned to perfection. There is nothing like a family business where they love to do what they do. Serve the people with a warm heartfelt hospitality.“

“Wife and I ate here for lunch for the first time and by far they had the best wings we’ve ever had, combined two different flavors - Cajun and Ranch dry rub. Great service! Excellent wings!!.“
“A fantastic historical place that was part of the US history, including one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. It has acres of beautiful and well maintained French style gardens. An excellent restaurant on site with very nice Low Country style dishes.“

“The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly, courteous and very professional. My husband had the Cobb sandwich which was huge with plenty of meat. It came with french fries that were nice and crispy. I had the wings which were very good and the other people in our party had a flatbread which they stated was wonderful. Thank you“

“First up the food was very good. Crab stuffed hush puppies alone were worth the trip to get there (for us). Shrimp and grits were top of the mark also. The decor had this 50s diner meets 80s color pallet that some how works very good. Staff was friendly. Definitely will go back.“

“I ate at The Hut for the first time Thursday. The food was amazing.....I had BBQChicken, broccoli cheese rice and collard greens. The servings were very generous and the food......seasoned to perfection....the rice was perfect. And the BBQ Chicken was the best I have every had. Also I had cornbread and for desert chocolate cake. The ladies were very friendly and sitting in the dining room I could sense a feeling of warmth.....Southern Hospitality at its best. They are located off of McMillian Ave in North Charleston. I recommend and suggest that if you want to experience a dining experience like no other head to The Hut. It is a Lowcountry treasure that everyone needs to experience. Best food and service in the Lowcountry!“

“Willie Jewell‘s BarBQ on University Boulevard is our go-to place for barbecue! We love dining in or getting carry-out. All the meats are excellent AND the sides are flavorful and quite varied, including daily special sides. The portions are generous and one of my favorite things about dining in is that all the sauces are WARM and available in a large pump dispenser. It’s always sad to me to put cold sauce on warm meat … that never happens at Willie Jewell‘s BarBQ on University Boulevard! The restaurant has an old-fashioned and lighthearted atmosphere and the staff are pleasant and efficient.“

“This is a great place to eat. We were a little skeptical because of past experiences with Hotel Restaurants (being over priced, with small portions) this is NOT the case. Very reasonably priced and just the right amount on servings. Waitress was so friendly !!! The food was absolutely delicious!! Worth the stop !! Ohh and the Fried Green Tomatoes on point !!!!“

“Great service from Destiny! She noticed us looking around because we had t yet been waited on. She came over introduced herself and made our dinner experience a pleasure. My out of town visitor had a really good experience and meal. We really appreciated her pleasent positive attitude. The food was really good we will return.“

“Kienna and Destiny went above and beyond today Saturday May 16th 2026. I had to dog sit on this side of town and decided to stop by to eat in this Bojangles because I had an hour to burn. The ladies and even the staff in the back were very efficient, friendly considering they are in pants in a building which has an air conditioner that is broken. I don't see one single box fan or similar and no portable air conditioner for the dining area.last read of the temperature was at 90 degrees. Come on Bojangles they probably are underpaid and overworked to begin with.“

“I was with a group of 5 couples. We were seated quickly, and service was prompt. Our server gave us excellent service. She delivered rolls to the table as soon as we sat down. What happened to those great fluffy rolls? Ours were cold and kinda flat. The food was acceptable. A couple of people commented that some portions were bit small but overall, good food. What caught our attention the most is the condition of the ceiling. The ceiling tiles were nasty and the AC vents are rusted. We were seated to the right of the main dining room in the separate section.“

“I haven’t been here in a few years and this was my first time coming back in a long time and I have to say the food and service was great! Sure, they are kind of pricey but it is definitely worth it in my opinion. I will definitely be back!“
