“Soooo all I have to say is if you have not tried the food, you might need to mosey on down to GC and get yourself a Turkey wing dinner, Oxtails dinner, Chicken Perlo, etc., and if you have a sweet tooth, they have huge cakes slices. I bought every flavor and went down the row to try a bite and OMGGGG, the moisture and texture to the cakes is top tier damn good! So if you come across this review and decide to go, know that it is worth every spending.PS- make sure to tip those helpful cashiers!Alright, I'm off to finish the rest of this key lime cake slice! “The atmosphere is the best part of the place. I had the smash burger , my wife ordered hot chicken, I should have got the chicken It was much better than my burger. They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.“

“So I had barbecued ribs, boiled cabbage, collard greens, and mac & cheese and cornbread and I’ve never been so full in my life and I couldn’t stop eating it amazing food, and the girls work in the front are very, very sweet. They’re a little quiet for customer service, but they make up with it was sweetness.“

The menu is straightforward, and the offerings are good.It is a little on the small side, so it can get a little cramped when it gets busy.Parking: There is street parking available, and a little parking lot located at the end of the shopping center. “Crab Du Jour was great. They have a great selection of finger foods if you're willing to get down and dirty. As well as an assortment of on plate choices if you're not feeling the mess. Marquelle was awesome and cordial; our drinks never went empty. We were approached by multiple people as well who tended to us as needed. Pricing varies for what you want to eat. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.“

“First time visiting, and it was amazing. Everything was good. I went with a group of 15 and the service was amazing, the food came out quickly and it was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and they have really funny signs all over the walls. Great place to enjoy good old southern BBQ food. “Enjoyed the walk around the property. House tour was probably not necessary. The animals were fun to watch. I suspected the articles that said this had the prettiest gardens of surrounding plantations were wrong because they weren't that great. Wasn't a fan of the nymph. Overall enjoyed.“

“It is an old ice house and a very comfortable feeling inside. The hamburgers are the best we have ever gotten here. Waitress was attentive and personable. “Our waiter was great, but i guess hostess went to bathroom and we were sent from front to back, multiple times. I was not the only one, we were three families. There was a guy looks like under the influence allowed to sit on the rocking chairs, he had blood on his shirt, trying to shake hands with patrons, allowed to get inside and walked back and forth by the kitchen, multiple times. My fries were liked fried multiple times and soaked all the oil later out waiter brought me another one, but by then I was done eating so can't enjoy much. Overall, I may or may not go back.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pork, so I ate steak but puzzled that you have beyond meat option but don't have Turkey.My steak was the best thing and mac and cheese was pretty good too“
