“We had no reservations. Walked in, and the kitchen was only cooking orders that had already been placed. The chef/owner offered us seats at the bar and his special homemade pasta with meatballs for 2. The bartender was very attentive, funny accommodating and the food was amazing True Italian dishes. everyone we came in contact with with was friendly and accommodating“

“My wife and I recently enjoyed a quick staycation at Wild Dunes Resort and made a reservation at the Oyster Catcher. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by James and Georgia, and they were absolutely phenomenal. Their warm welcome, upbeat energy, and amazing personalities truly set the tone for a fantastic night.

We were also fortunate to meet Christina, who I believe is the assistant manager, and she was absolutely wonderful. She checked on us several times throughout the evening and made sure everything was going smoothly. Her kindness and attention to detail really stood out and added so much to our experience.

Our server Kendall was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, she was spot on. We had such a great conversation and learned that she works there during the summers. The Oyster Catcher is extremely lucky to have someone like her. She was sweet, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

A huge shout out to the chef as well. The food was amazing. We had the skirt steak, potatoes, Caesar salad, and fried oysters. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared.

Lastly, hats off to the bartenders who made the old fashioneds spot on. Their skill and care in crafting each cocktail were the perfect finishing touch to an exceptional evening.

“We were there on Sept 12th about 5pm.... the restraunt is so busy during regular dinner hours (understandable because the food is delicious) .... my advice is to try going on off hours ... because the server staff is so over-stimulated with too many customers/tables to handle during the heavily trafficked dinner rush ... however we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the kitchen does a great job of taking the time to make each dish deliciously perfect even in the face of overcrowded chaos ... thank you to the boathouse kitchen staff for making our meal perfect when the rest of the house was going crazy“

“The restaurant exceeded my expectations. Our server was very professional and poised. He checked in often but was not over-bearing. I had the mussels to start. They were AMAZING! I can't remember having them so fresh and tasty. My husband had a salad and said it was delicious. My dinner was the filet and my husband had duo lambs - Melt in your mouth - outstanding!!! It was the perfect dinner for our 10th wedding anniversary.“
