I was torn between three choices and she helped me decide which of the three I should eat. The dish was excellent and just the right choice for me. I thought the caesar salad was fresh and delicious but had too much dressing for me. I would order it on the side next time. If you visit this restaurant, ask to be seated in Wendy's section!“

“The service and food were excellent today. Oscars rarely disappoints. My only issue is the surcharge for using a credit card. Now the menu prices were all high as most so I have to ask how cheesy for Oscars to embarrass this establishment by noting this increase on my receipt. Guys this is a premium dining establishment. Pinching more $ I think should we embarrassing to proprietor. Stop this! If you don't have your menu costed correctly that's your problem to figure out.“

I started with the Tlayudas, which were incredibly delicious and a delightful departure from the ordinary; they are quite large, reminiscent of a pizza. Everything is cooked to order and fresh, not sitting around waiting for a customer to order it. “We had a great experience at Konichiwa. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Godzilla Roll, and Red Rose Roll, and all three were excellent. Everyone in our family ended up having a different favorite.

The Godzilla Roll was my favorite, the deep-fried texture and flavor were outstanding. My wife’s favorite was the Dragon Roll, while my son loved the Red Rose Roll. It had a little bit of spice for him, but he still enjoyed it.

We also ordered the New York Strip Steak Bento. It was decent, but compared to the sushi rolls, it was just okay and didn’t stand out.

For dessert, we tried the mochi ice cream, and my son liked it.

As many other reviewers have mentioned, the staff was attentive, friendly, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal.

“We went in a Saturday, there was a mariachi in there singing for other tables. I think this place is more for drinking instead of eating. There were only women waitresses, you can have fun here but I think is not a family place, it is more for pre-party or party.“

Varied menu with ample selections, fair prices, appealing plating, and decent portions. Chicken was a bit tough and would've sent it back but traded with another at our table. “We had dinner at Dragon Palace on Daniel Island this evening, and it was probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Charleston area. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The sesame chicken was excellent, the pork dumplings and crab puffs were delicious, and the soups were a great way to start the meal.

Our waitress, Skyla, did a fantastic job. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

“This place is not much to look at. But. The shrimp Po boy sub (add cheese) is killer. I know this is a chain. Ive only been to Charleston twice, but after the 1st time I couldn't stop thinking about this sammich. Just had it again and once more: 10/10. Friends eating other menu items here were less enthusiastic, but everyone loved this po boy. Fries were good too.“
