“Great takeout, fast service at an affordable price. I called ahead and placed my order, which was ready in 15 minutes. The food was hot and delicious. I wasn’t sure how big the portions were so I ordered quite a bit of food and had leftovers for several days. This is my new comfort takeout spot.“
“Great Sichuan fusion fare that just gets your taste buds buzzing with great flavors. They tweak the menu seasonally. Interesting cocktails and very laid back and friendly but efficient service. Room is kind of kitschy with wooden tables and chairs and lively music. Great way to spend casual time with friends or favorite squeeze. Looking forward to returning soon.“
“My husband & I decided to have date night here a few nights ago & it was such a wonderful dining experience! The food was so delicious - full of yummy spices & flavors. The cocktails were also some of the best we've had in Charleston!! The bartender didn't disappoint with several sweet designs in the cocktails, too! :) Make sure you ask for Kristin when booking a reservation! She made our dining experience even more fantastic!“
“This is the BEST Chinese food in all of Charleston and the best I've had in my life . honestly...my husband and I have been going here for years being that we are from James Island and now that we've moved to the west we still drive all the way to James Island when we want any kind of Chinese..NOWHERE else can top great wall...food is always fresh and hot and big portions...it's so good Im literally typing this review as ny husband is on his way to pick up our dinner.“
“We ordered the fried noodles with beef, string beans, and half of a Peking duck. The flavors are outstanding and the portion sizes are large. Small side dishes (like Korean banchan) are brought out prior to the entrees. Expect to eat family style. We are definitely coming back. What a gem!“
“Stopped here for the first time on a Sunday night to try a new spot. We got Chicken Pad Thai and cream cheese wontons and it was definitely better than your average takeout Chinese food. The family was very nice and the food was ready quickly and was really hot and fresh.“
“We were a little hesitant due to the gas station location, but don't let it deter you from giving this place a try. It was busy with takeouts, and the interior is small and simple, but we got great service and the food was delicious! If I lived nearby I'd definitely be ordering takeout on a regular basis. Large menu and plenty to choose from. I enjoyed the Bulgogi and my daughter enjoyed the Pad Thai.“
“Great food! I got the Maki A platter and my boyfriend got the chicken hibachi. Both portions were good sizes and less expensive than most restaurants in the Charleston area. The food also came out very quickly. Our waitress Dina was new and she was fantastic. So sweet and very attentive to us despite her having other tables and it only being her second day working!“
“Got the milk tea boba tea and kimchi udon soup. The boba tea was delicious and not overly sweet and the uson soup was tasty. Sour soup base with lots of kimchi, veggies, fat udon noodles and lots of seafood. Service was very good and restaurant was spacious so you didn't feel clustered.“
“Hands down the best breakfast joint in town. I work in the area and order the breakfast special to go. If you want to experience one of the staples of downtown cuisine in Guelph then Vienna has to be on your list.Vienna is cheaper, tastier, and more-bottomless-coffee-er than other popular breakfast places in Guelph such as Angel's, Wimpy's, or Apollo's.“
“Jaings Kitchen is the best on james Island hands down. It used to be called Tokyo Express and it was the only place we would order. They rebranded it to Jaing’s Kitchen but the food is still as good as it has always been, maybe even better now. The food is fresh and flavorful and just the perfect takeout idea that brought you here to this google review. Enjoy!“
“Visited on a Thursday evening with 2 guests - they were doing some sort of indoor renovation and ordering took place outside / to-go.-Vegetable Stir Fry Noodles-Vegetable Spring RollsService wasn't necessarily friendly. Food was ready quickly - only gave us 1 fork for 2 people. Pricing was fairly typical for Chinese food (on the higher side but fairly large portions).Would recommend for a quick, easy Chinese take-out option.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Stir Fry, Vegetable Dishes, Vegetable Spring Rolls“
“This is a typical all around take out Chinese spot. We had this after calling it in last night with some of our friends that love this place and we thought it was really good for what you pay. It’s not a PF Chang’s so don’t expect that from them, but everything we had was hot and fresh. I had the pineapple chicken which was kind of sweet, but still tasty if you like orange chicken styles. The Lo Mein was good, the wings, chicken on a stick and egg rolls were too. We had a good experience and would recommend this to anybody on James Island that wants good/fast takeout Chinese.“
“My family loves getting food here. The sesame chicken is always crisp and has a really good sesame sauce and they are always more than happy to accommodate special requests (for us it's adding veggies to the lo mein) and the lo mein is always on point.Vegetarian options: You can substitute tofu in place of meat in their dishes or request veggies only“
“No I'm not saying their food is like WOW IT'S AMAZING. No I'm not saying all their menus are good. Then why do I give them 4 stars? 1. Cheap. Their lunch combo is $9, with tax it's barely $10 which it's so much cheaper than other places. 2. A huge portion: You receive a brick. Seriously. They PACK the food like how we pack our food at the Chinese buffet with a flat rate lol I don't know how they close it but they do! I eat a lot but I could eat 3 meals from one plate. 3. Some menus are guaranteed good. General Tso's chicken, Lo meins and Vegetable fried rice, Crab Rangoon is great. They use spaghetti noodles instead of Lo mein noodles, but they make it work. To me Chicken with Broccoli was meh. The sauce was light like Lobster sauce. Pancit is a little bit bland. It's not a place that you need to come check out if you live far, but if you are broke, want good food and live pretty close from here, order Lomein + Fried rice now lol“
“Pho Saigon has been a staple on James Island for my girlfriend and I. While we normally do take out we decided to go in and sit down and we had a lovely experience with Fiona as our server. Fiona did a wonderful job and the food was excellent!“
“Live right next to the restaurant for 3 years now, but was hesitant to try it, I finally ordered wonton soup and 2 spring rolls just to be on the safe side.Pleasantly surprised, service was good, food was delicious even talked to the owners. Very affordable.“
“Very convenient, placed an order and went next door, meals were ready in 10 minutes. Very good and tasty. Had steak with peppers, onions and a large shrimp fried rice. They are generous with the shrimp, maybe because that's the only thing that is in the rice. Shrimp and rice, no veggies or egg. Next time I will request the aforementioned additions since I will be dining with them again.“
