“This Subway is the best I have ever been to. The subs are about the same as every other Subway and the ingredients at this Subway are fresh. The reason it's the best is the people that own and operate it. They are so friendly and nice! I make it a point to go there when I'm heading to Kiwah Beach. Love it.“

“I’ve never been in the store, so I can’t comment on their service. However, as I was waiting in the parking lot to go to the nearby gym there was a homeless woman sitting outside. A man, I assume the owner/manager, brought the woman some water and food without any provocation. He did not appear to be rude or ask her to leave; he just wanted to help.“

“This place was a madhouse on a Saturday afternoon, but for very good reason. The setup is a bit disorientating at first, but makes sense; you order at the glass first, where they’re making the sandwiches, get a ticket to pay at the register, and then wait anywhere you can stand. Dining is standing room only as well, but we did choose to dine in.

The bread used for the sandwiches is an incredible focaccia, golden crisp but soft on the inside. The ingredients are fresh: tomato, basil, olive oil, pear, pesto, and mozzarella. The prosciutto is cut while you watch on an old fashioned crank driven deli slicer. The staff is working over time serving up dozens of sandwiches including their porchetta with horseradish.

We topped it off with some cannoli and Peligrino. Everyone was very polite (customers and staff), and the management did check to ensure you were enjoying the food if you decided to dine in.“

“Cold Shoulder Gourmet isn’t just the best sandwich shop in Charleston, it’s a full-blown culinary experience disguised as a casual lunch spot. The owner Craig, is genuinely one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met, and watching him work the sandwich station is like watching Picasso paint… if Picasso had access to truffle cream cheese and fresh-baked focaccia.

Get the Spicy 🥵 with capicola, nduja, truffle cream cheese/hot sauce, arugula, and parmesan. If you’re lucky enough to catch it, it’s a religious experience. Run, don’t walk. 😋“

“I grew up in a small town north of Boston. Each weekend the kids went to The Marblehead Sub Shop where the bread was freshly baked, the meat, cheese and veggies were sliced (not chopped) and the Sub was loaded and topped with oil and vinegar.

“I like the Subway at Citadel Mall in West Ashley. They are a good Subway in just about every aspect and the location is perfect inside the mall, but still enclosed and separate from the food court area. They are consistent in their quality and sandwich artistry and I have always had excellent sandwiches every time that I have been here. The staff here is cool and listens well.“

“I walked in at lunch rush. The lady who was running the team had two brand new team members on staff, with a huge line forming very quickly. She was ver apologetic and explained that someone had just walked out on her and the other two teammates were brand new. She had the best attitude even though she was overwhelmed, and she was very communicative about the situation with everyone who came in or called. I know those situations are tough and she handled it amazingly.“

“I have not had Subway in years due to a few bad experiences and the rise of Jersey Mikes, but there are some things you just can't get at other chains. For myself, it is the sweet onion chicken teriyaki. A few months ago, I gave this location a shot...Hands down, one of the most consistent and friendly experiences I think I've ever had at a fast food joint (the first time and the 4 or 5 times since). Sauce and condiments are inside the bread where they belong when I get home to eat. No pic as I barely got the car in park when I got home to eat...“

“New Years Eve 2024, came into this Jersey Mike's for my late birthday dinner. Ashley the sweet lady behind the counter helping us, was patience and kind. We have a large family and it can be difficult to get everyone ordered. She not only took time to answer our questions but she also gave advice. Great experience.. would definitely recommend. “A big shout out to the four ladies behind the counter, who helped me on a hot steamy day. My grandson craved a cheesesteak after surgery at children’s hospital. He wasn’t able to eat the first one so I went back three days later to the same shop, and these same ladies gave me yet another cheese steak on the house! Love you guys we are coming back!“
