“WE LOVE PINEAPPLE HUT!! Best dole whip hands down. We go to this place everytime we go to Folly. The staff is always friendly. Whoever the young lady was that was there this afternoon was so sweet. “*Southern vibes only* What a gem for the Charleston area! Jennie-Ann was the definition of southern hospitality, that cinnamon roll is a must (forget your diet, forget your gluten allergy, take extra insulin - it's worth it.) biscuits and gravy made that melt your heart, shrimp and grits perfect cook and amazing flavor. My friend said she could eat the Mediterranean omelette every day of her life. And for extra point they use the McDonald's straws so you get the perfect amount of coke in every sip.🥰🤤🥹“

“This is my family’s favorite restaurant in Folly. We make sure to go every time (a few times) when we visit for vacation. We used to live here and we have seen all the places around. LOWLIFE has become one of the best around forsure!

“Don't let the casual look of this place fool you. The food and drinks are top notch. Excellent burgers, shepherds pie, house made ranch dressing, and wagyu sliders. The Brussels sprouts with goat cheese are a favorite. Prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Treat yourself to the cheese curds with gravy.“

“Food was delicious. But when I returned home with my son to eat the delivered dinner, there was no Parmasian cheese or red peppers. I understand all the big namers not supplying Parmasian and peppers but when you spend 70 bucks on 2 pizzas, it seems a little unreal that it was not given. Food was great but would have probably been better with the basics.“

“Traveling on our girls Beach trip we are challenged to find a restaurant with a view, great menu and service! LoLo’s has a dock with an amazing view right on the marsh. Beautiful at sunset. The food was amazing with good sized portions. The hush puppies with honey butter! a 10 out of 10! The service was with a genuine smile and patient feedback when helping us decide from a chefs menu “what is your heart telling you to get”!“

“We stopped in since we drove past so many times before. Wow it was just wow it as just wonderful! The key lime pie was home made and melted in your mouth. The shrimp and grits were buttery and creamy and the seasoning was delicious. My visit was fantastic and I will come again to try the crabcakes next“
“We had a wonderful time with our tasting and dinner during our trip to Charleston! They have some very uniquely flavored liquors. Additionally, Scotty, the bartender, and Chef Kiet were so welcoming, and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We will definitely be back for future visits!“

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! Great coffee, service, pastries, toasts and local drink and food finds!“

You gotta give guests water immediately after they are seated. The captain can do this. It's pretty hot in August, so the guests will notice this. Easy thing to fix.
On the plus side, we were at the Dunlin for a special occasion and Linette's recognized it. That was awesome.“

Employees are great, too. I've eaten here for over a decade (yeah I'm an oldie) and I don't think I've ever been disappointed.
And one suggestion: their Japanese menu is very good, too.“
