“Absolutely love it here the staff is always kind and welcoming. That said, they really need to get an air filter. The strong smell of smoke and grease makes it hard to stay inside for long or get any work done comfortably. It’s a great place otherwise, but the air quality definitely needs improvement.“

“My husband got the mint chocolate chip frappe and LOVED it! And he’s picky! I got the iced dirty chai tea latte with cold foam and I’ve had many before, and it was not great. Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.“

“We stopped in for breakfast at Bodega, and it was the perfect way to start our day before heading to the beach. I ordered The Cow and hands down — it’s the best breakfast sammie I’ve had outside of a Long Island deli. Paired it with a caramel and vanilla latte that was just as good. My wife had the Bodega Platter with a Samoa’ That latte, and everything was spot on.
The team was incredibly kind and helpful, creating a laid-back atmosphere filled with families and well-behaved dogs. It felt like the kind of place you want to hang out for a while.
On a marketing side note — their branding is awesome. As someone who works in marketing, I was seriously impressed with their apparel, especially the socks. I couldn’t not buy a hat. Huge kudos to their branding and marketing team. Great food, great people, and a great vibe.“

“This has been our favourite coffee place in Mount Pleasant with kids. The playground in the garden is great...and so is the service and high quality cappuccino.
If we ever come back to the Charleston area, this place would be our favourite spot for starting the day with a good coffee.“

“We stopped by this Starbucks and had a really great experience. The drinks were perfectly made, and the staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—which always makes such a difference.
The store itself was super clean and had a calm, cozy vibe. Whether you’re popping in for a quick caffeine fix or planning to sit and relax for a bit, it’s a great spot to unwind. Our drinks came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh and just right.

“Monday morning - no drive through, but it was VERY busy but their staff was killin it. Elliot helped us at the counter, while pouring coffee and preparing the orders for food. We waited maybe 5 mins and I was impressed with how they worked because there were so many drink and togo orders. Great job 👏🏽“

“Ordered a Grande Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew. The line wasn’t long, the wait wasn’t long, and was not expensive compared to other Starbucks I’ve been to. The drink came out with 3/4 foam on the top which was only 1/4 cold brew. Pretty lopsided for my taste and not what I would expect with the typical quality control of Starbucks drinks.“

“I came in today shortly after a mobile order and the barista calling out drinks on hot bar was ON TOP of it. She followed up with my order (which wasn’t even taking long, she checked for it unprompted). Anyway, having worked at Starbucks in college I know how hard the morning rush can be and I wanted to say this Starbucks is killing it.“

“Best coffee in Charleston! It’s delicious, smooth and wakes you up! Many of the newer shops popping up have very bitter coffee. You can tell the coffee at cooper river is carefully sourced and the owner is very knowledgeable! When we go in, it’s one person making the drinks (owner?) and you can tell its quality over volume. 10/10 recommend!“
