“This restaurant has a new manager that has made some amazing changes to the atmosphere and service in the entire store. They are now open from 7 AM to 10PM. The service is great and the workers are pleasant and eager to serve you. Good management definitely makes a difference.“

They have more than "Just Desserts".Long story short, I ordered the New Yorker, which was a Pastrami sandwhich that is hard to find in the Carolina's. I also ordered a cup of the Chicken Gumbo soup.The sandwich was pretty good, but the soup was magnificent! Was it thick like a gumbo? No. Actually, the soup didn't remind me of a gumbo at all.Regardless of the name, it was delicious. My only regret is that I didn't order a bowl to go.I also ordered a slice of chocolate cake that I'm saving for later. It should be good with respect to the title of the shop.Of course, the southern hospitality was on lvl 9000, and what you should expect when you are in a small town.I will certainly be back if my travels bring me back to Harleyville.?“
“The buffet restaurant just next to the Subway is the bomb! Ham, fried chicken, ribs, beans and rice, mac and cheese, greens, mashed potatoes and gravy. All homemade by a group of fine southern women, who just want you to be well fed and happy! At the end of the meal, there are six yummy homemade cakes to choose from for dessert. Don't miss this stop on 95 South! The price is right, too!“

“This review is for the nice young lady, KeyAsia. While preparing my subs this evening with people in line and in the lobby the phone started to ring. Rather than the young man in the back answer the phone, he popped his head out and then a moment later what I would assume was the manager hollered " you still need to answer the phone". SHAMEFUL!! Any GOOD manager would lead by example of the job that needs to be done for good customer service. This young lady did the right thing with a lobby full of people and her manager just made herself look really bad!! Kudos, young lady for doing the right thing for the customers in front of you.“
