“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.”

“Best breakfast I have EVER had at any restaurant! I got the Bistro shrimp and grits, and my husband got the crab shrimp and grits. Both were perfect, and I've never rated anything perfect before. The servers were quick, amiable, and amusing. They kept telling us that our table smelled good as they walked by. ☺️. The only problem is that this restaurant is about 4 hours from our home. Sigh.”

“Each time I come down to stay at our family’s home in Kiawah, we always end up walking down the beach to The Sanctuary’s Bar to end our evening. This year the staff was A++++. I have to give a special shoutout to Nel, Britney & Mr. Wesley for going above & beyond the entire week, each night we visited. From seeing some of us waiting in line & before we even got to the front of the line, knowing & having our drinks ready or to helping my grandmother onto our golf cart as she is handicap. They made our family have the most fun we have had in years down here in Kiawah. We look forward to being back over Easter. Thanks for everyone who took care of us throughout the week!”

“Was visiting the Sanctuary with my husband and we had a great dinner at the ocean room celebrating our honeymoon. Services was fabulous, thank you JT! I would say my two favorite dishes were the wedge salad and the brussel sprouts! We split the NY strip which was very good. Definitely a great spot for a celebration dinner.”

“My wife and I have eaten here many times and the food and service are always excellent. Don't understand the negative reviews though, as everyone we know that has eaten here has also been extremely impressed. Staff are super friendly and their fried seafood is delicious. Have never eaten breakfast here, so I can't provide a rating for that. My wife and I always split the Seacow fried dinner that includes two items (shrimp and fish for us) and have never been disappointed and leave full. The Seacow isn't fancy or ostentatious, just a pleasant and relaxing little restaurant on my favorite island.”

“If you have kids and you are staying on Kiawah, this is the area you want to be in. We were there for Thanksgiving and this place was action packed.. lots of events and energy. The resort does an amazing job. Cafe/store is also fantastic.”

“Great spot on Kiawah for breakfast or lunch. Inside and outside seating options. Not the fastest, but the courtesy, attitude, and laidback atmosphere makes up for it. Read the whole menu and then make a choice because there are some sleepers. I’d recommend coming back a few times so you can try several sandwiches and salads.”

“We visited Edisto Island this past weekend. We came in to grab a couple of drinks. I ordered the London Fog Latte which I had never heard of before. It was DELICIOUS! I went to Starbucks this morning and ordered one, hoping it would be just like the one I ordered at your café. Sadly, it was horrendous and I had to pour it out. Kudos!”
