For appetizers, we had the ricotta and crab—something my wife wanted more than I did, so I wasn’t expecting much, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was incredible. The fried oyster sliders, delicious.

For entrées, we ordered the short ribs and the burger. The short ribs were good, but the biggest surprise was the burger. That cheese sauce and “fancy” sauce—whatever it is—was insanely good.

On top of that, the $10 happy hour cocktails (the daiquiri was great, especially for the price) and free parking in the building made the experience even better.

The historic venue is so unique, the way Mike ties the history of Charleston into the history of the food is so informative and fun. It was also really fun getting ti know the other guests. This is definitely one of the best food experiences offered in Charleston!!“

“I was craving turkey wings but didn’t feel like cooking, quick Google search led me here and I beyond happy I found them.

I’ve been here twice and both times the food has been delicious!!! The turkey wings were fall off the bone tender, the lima beans were good and the mac and cheese reminded me of my grandmas.

To get 3 sides and meat for $10.90 is unheard of these days but that is exactly what I paid.
