“Best ice cream shop on Sullivan’s island, right under the Obstinate Daughter restaurant. My oldest has a peanut and tree nut allergy making it difficult to have ice cream in most places due to cross-contamination from shared scoops. The Beardcat has great flavors and individual scoops per flavor. Definitely a win!“

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! “The açaí bowl is very good. I didn’t realize a bowl and coffee would be over $20. The bowl was $15. Maybe this is common here, I’m not from here - but that seemed pricey to me. I will say it is absolutely loaded to the brim with yummy good stuff.

The coffee is your basic espresso drinks. I was not deeply impressed with the coffee, size option (only one), or flavor options.

More outdoor seating than any coffee shop I've seen and has a unique play area which makes this coffee shop great for families with kids! Sometimes you just want to unwind with a cup of food coffee while the kids run around this is the place.“

Their cinnamon roll is very good. Unfortunately the chai is almost straight milk & my sandwich was pretty burnt. I know they just opened up so I'm down to give them another shot in the future and maybe try something different from their menu.

The spot’s cute and small with a nice beach view, but don’t expect too many places to sit. It's perfect for grabbing a quick coffee (definitely not a place to set up shop with your laptop).

They've got the usual Starbucks coffee at the same prices, but fewer food options.

Parking can be a pain around here, but if you're staying at the hotel, you're good to go.

“I visit Folly once a year so I'm sure this really does not really make a difference. My server ...young lady came to our table asking quickly what we would like. Ordered coffee...I asked from across our table of 4 may I have cream with a straight face no smile picked up the creamer and slapped it front of me. Here it is As if to say are you blind . Very rude. This year I didn't buy a tee shirt and If next year I stop for a meal but probably not.“
