It was due to an allergy and they took it VERY seriously. The restaurant ended up taking care of our entire bill and they were over the top exceptional. This is what I call customer service and the best I’ve had at any restaurant. We had Kalyb as our server you must ask for him because he is amazing. Bravo Cactus Club. You guys deserve all the business and the best of the best. When we are back in Saskatoon, we will be back at Cactus Club.”

“We've been to this restaurant for several years and usually order drive-through for burgers, fries, or onion rings. Sometimes, we eat in on Saturday mornings and order the All-Canadian Breakfast. Great tasting sausage, bacon, and eggs with toast and a couple slices of tomato ? ? ? most of the time they fry the eggs a perfect over easy other times it's a miss. We will continue coming here, but I will say that they need to clean the tables more often and wipe off the chairs as well.”

The fries were golden and crispy, not too salty, and served hot. I also tried the new Chicken Fries, which were a fun and tasty addition to the meal. The portion size was just right, leaving me full and satisfied without feeling overstuffed.
What impressed me most was the speed and friendliness of the service. Despite the dinner rush, I received my order in just a few minutes. The staff was courteous and efficient, making the whole experience even better.
The restaurant itself was clean, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great spot for a quick, tasty meal on the go.

“Sadly I'd have to suggest skipping this place. We went there Wednesday for our 11 year anniversary. Wife made reservations, told them why, we were there at 4 pm, place just opened. We were dressed up, yet seated near others that arrived same time. In work clothes with advertising, couples who were clearly unhappy. Everyone on their phones, kids on tablets. So romantic. The service was decent. Appetizers... Mushroom dip nacho, Thick, way too thick. Escargot was okay, but the center one was cold. Food was.... edible. Lobster tail was a solid blob of meat, steak knife literally used to cut it up. Steak, nice mouth sized chunk of fat. Wife's steak sent back for not being cooked long enough, and was quite salty. Vegetables was pretty good. Drinks decent as well. We didn't complain because it was a special day, was hard enough for my wife to send her steak back for a few minutes and we don't want to be "those people" (we did notice they removed my wife drink charge) Also very uncomfortable hearing the music of the restaurant and rap coming from the kitchen. Trust me, all I listen to is rap. Unfortunately I have a bit left on a gift card, if I do visit, I'll likely show up on a hot day in shorts and a muscle shirt because there isn't a dress code or expectations like I've always been told about the Keg. Not a great mood setter spending $180 and having the same experience as a regular restaurant and food quality to match. We skipped desserts just to get out of there and sit for 1 1/2 in our vehicle before our movie because it was such an uncomfortable experience in the restaurant. I don't recommend driving for a hour for a Keg experience for any out of city people.”

However, the shrimp was slightly disappointing, as it came out a bit soggy. Fries were great, well-seasoned and cooked just right. I also appreciated the coleslaw, which was well-balanced with just the right touch of vinegar.
While the food was good, the plating could be improved. The server was friendly but could have been more attentive, especially given the small number of customers at the time. The ambiance is pleasant, though the place could use a bit of TLC. Convenient location, just a few minutes from the airport, makes it a nice option for a quick bite. Overall, a decent experience – I'd recommend it with a few small improvements.”

“We were visiting checking out U of S for our son and came here because it is rated 3rd of all restaurants in Saskatoon and it did not disappoint! The food was nothing short of amazing and portion sizes were great! I had the seafood fettuccini, my wife had the zucchini pasta and the kids had the burger and fries and it was quite honestly the best restaurant food we’ve had for a long long time. And pricing was less than most of the fancier restaurants in Saskatoon and I was quite surprised that was the case. The setting and location is beautiful with large windows facing towards the river. It was very professional and attentive and I do not remember the last time our food was piping hot when it arrived. It clearly did not sit under a hot lamp for even a minute. I look forward to more visits here should our son choose to attend this university!”
