Exceptionally friendly managers and serving staff, we could not have asked for more. Moxies now has a brunch menu that is pretty awesome. I chose the Vegetarian Egg White Omelette, - the accompanying sourdough bread toast was grilled to perfection, served with strawberry jam, soooo yummy, and the fresh fruit and breakfast potatoes were tasty & generous. My spouse had the flavourful Brunch Burger and was also very pleased with his meal. Not only OUR food, but also delectable plates we saw walking by, served to other tables. There was actually a gasp of delight when people behind us were served the heaping plate of Brioche French Toast, with mixed berry topping and whipped cream. It looked delightful. Were told the Breakfast Bites and Breakfast Tacos are also delectable. We had reservations for 11am, were seated immediately and were well taken care of from start to finish. “unfortunately i feel this place is going slightly down hill , service was great but we went to order chicken and ribs (we usually have the same thing as we only go on special occasions) it was our anniversary and we order ribs and they have taken them off the menu completely,there was nothing said or advertised about this we were shocked to say the least this is a fancy restaurant and you can’t afford to have ribs on the menu ?? extremely disappointed,probably won’t be back it seems every time we go something has changed and not for the better . very unsatisfied. does anyone else feel this way ? not everyone likes steak and lobster.”

As we are not from Saskatoon we were intrigued that the place had been open for 46 years and figured they had to be doing something right. The dimly lit dining room featuring early 20th century jazz sounds transported us down South to a familiar world of fine dining. The mushroom tartines were our favorite bite but the pickerel was close behind. The gnocchi was our favorite taste of the night. The blue curaçao whiskey drink was an interesting take on a whiskey sour and my wife loved her aura borealis mocktail. Service was great and so was dessert.”

“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Dima at the Good Earth Coffee location inside the Children's Hospital. A family member of mine was in emergency, and we were feeling really down and anxious. It wasn’t an easy day.
When we stopped by for a quick break, Dima's energy and kindness instantly made a difference. He cracked a couple of jokes that actually got us to smile, which felt like a small miracle in the moment. He also recommended some food options that we ended up trying — and they were absolutely amazing.
Dima is the perfect personality to be working in a hospital setting. He brings warmth, humor, and a sense of comfort when it’s needed most. 10/10 — incredibly impressed and grateful!”

“It was nice. I wasn't too hungry so I had some calamari and chicken fingers. It was well made. As anyways in almost every place I've had calamari, they tend to deep fry it in over used oil so it comes out heavy than it should.
We ate in the train car. Was disappointed that there was little to no air conditioning in it - it was really too warm in it, but the ambiance was nice.
Our group also had the lasagna and ravioli and spumoni and all said it was delicious.”

“The menu was great, it has something for everyone! I got the Pibili Pork Taco and the flavour of the pork was delicious! Tried their house made honey cumin dressing on my salad and it was a great balance between the sweetness of the honey with the slight bite of cumin afterwards. The plate came with so much food, I happily took some home for another meal. Service was fast and friendly. I'm from a smaller town though so only downside was finding parking on the weekend. 😂”

“I ordered through Door Dash and had an issue with the quality of my dish. DD wouldn’t do anything to help so I contacted State & Main directly. They offered to issue a refund but I really wanted my meal, so asked if they would consider simply remaking it and I’d pick it up. They said yep no problem, and had it ready like 20 minutes later. It was perfect, exactly how I figured they would usually make it. Not only that, they have me a coupon for a credit towards our next bill - which we will definitely be using soon. 10/10 customer service and food.”
