“We went there for our Anniversary dinner tonight. The food was exceptional. Our server Jonathan was very friendly, knowledgable about the menu. He was also great at making sure our dinner needs were met. All the staff checked on all guests also. I would highly recommend this restuarant.“

The waitress is on point and friendly. The decor hasn’t changed much in years and that’s ok. I’m not going to look at the decor, just to grab a good meal.“

“I had dinner here during my trip to Chattanooga to help my daughter move here from Canada. I stayed within walking distance of this place. The area around here I found nice and seemed trendy and clean. I was able to walk in and got a seat right away. I had a blood mountain drink, it was refreshing and had great taste. For food I had the catfish tacos with fries and an order of their wings. The wings were a really good size. They are dry rubbed and chared. They had a ton of flavour. The tacos were also a decent size and full of flavour. The fries were also good. Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. I personally like brick walls. The wall decor is neat and there are plenty of older pictures showing the history of the city. I will seek this place out again in a future return to the city“

“Central Park in Hixson is always a great choice! The food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious, and the service is always quick, friendly, and courteous. You can tell they take pride in taking care of their customers. One of my favorite things, though, has to be the funny and creative messages they put up on their billboard. They always manage to make me smile when I drive by! Great food, great service, and a little humor along the way. Definitely a 5-star experience and a place I’m always happy to visit!“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“We were in Chattanooga and my wife wanted a Hardee's biscuit. It was a little after 11am so we hit up the East Ridge location. My wife's order was a custom one but they nailed it and had our food to us quickly. Everything tasted fresh and great, plus it was good and hot which surprised me since they were about to stop serving breakfast.“

“My wife and I have eaten at many bbq's around the Chattanooga, Tn area. Big Dan's BBQ is by far the best we have ever had. The pulled pork and chicken is very moist and flavorful. “This little wing place is off the beaten path. But don’t let that fool ya! They were busy with everyone walking in and carrying out food. The wings are some of the best we have had. It’s in a little plaza. The prices are low and the portions are large? You definitely get your moneys worth! If you’re in Chattanooga you have to give them a try I don’t think you will be disappointed! H y also have other items like friend rice, shrimp baskets and Philly cheese steak and fish baskets.“

“It was late, but there was a staff member outside taking a break, who greeted me politely and cheerfully. The lady who took my order was fast and accurate. My tray was delivered to my table!!! Wow! I had never had the mac n cheese, but I will frequently now. It was delicious, hot, smooth and creamy. My burger was tasty and hot. Very good all around!“

“Absolutely wonderful. The custard is well priced, good portion, and delicious. I got the concrete chocolate blend with salted caramel and it was just to die for. My husband got the flavor of the month which was vanilla, fudge, caramel, and cookie dough chunks. Altogether less than $10! Have to try the food next time, but would highly recommend for desert!“

“The morning staff here all together make up an awesome crew. They are courteous and friendly. The store front is clean inside and out and the bathrooms were surprisingly very clean. Drive through can get long but quickly moves along and the lobby was quick to order quick to serve and then eat. I would recommend this Hardee’s to anyone local and those who are visiting.“
