50 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Chattanooga

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“Stopped here for the tacos. Tacos were 100% on point. Coming from Cali authentic tacos are hard to come by. No complaints about the quality or the salsa. It was damn tasty. The tortillas were also fresh and homemade. The only complaint I have is how steep the price was. It was 14$ for 3 tacos which is almost 5$ a taco. They were small. I got my fix but was still hungry. I will definitely go back.“

They're always super nice and the food is always good, except for the fries!

The fries have tasted nasty the last three times I've gotten them. I've looked at them and they're not burnt, and I don't see a green tint on them, but they taste old and very earthy. I don't know if they just got a bad batch of potatoes in or what but I haven't been able to eat my fries for these past few times“

“We were in Chattanooga and my wife wanted a Hardee's biscuit. It was a little after 11am so we hit up the East Ridge location. My wife's order was a custom one but they nailed it and had our food to us quickly. Everything tasted fresh and great, plus it was good and hot which surprised me since they were about to stop serving breakfast.“

“"A team" Go to Chic filet and you'll see one ❤️. I marvel every time I witness what it is that they do that sets them apart in our everyday world full of chaos. They seem to have the secret sauce when it comes to, well-- everything. No, not their polonisian (but it's good!). Their intentionality, their STANDARD, their people, and their people's commitment to their standard is truly worthy of imitation. But there are few others. It's no surprise to me now WHY their line wraps around their buildings EVERYDAY. But it moves quickly! 🚗💨 Yes, their chicken is good but an "everyday" visit for lunch just doesn't have the same feel at other places -- EVERYday. Chic filet is consistent. Go! You will see agreement IN ACTION between their people and Chic filet's standard that dictates that smooth flow of service for you every time. In contrast, the spirit of our now 'severed world' dictates that people act according to their "rights". But actually "rights" must be rooted in WHAT is RIGHT because RIGHT HAS A STANDARD. Just like at Chick-fil-A a person can't just do whatever he or she FEELS is right (to them) or the flow is sure to be compromised -- for the whole team! 😔 So thank you Chick-fil-A for being such a wonderful example ❤️. Because the real team is HUMANITY which is you and me.“

“Excellent place for wings and a casual meal. The wings were hot, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with a great variety of sauces to choose from. Everything came out fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, making it a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy good food. “This had to be the best order I've received from pizza hut! I called and requested a modifier to my order that was not available through the app and spoke to management directly he was a pleasure to speak with and as stated best one I've had in years from here! When food arrived it was hot and so delicious we all sat and bragged about it. I don't know what changed but it sure is for the best! Keep up the good work! Will be by to drop off extra tip for my driver he was so patient and polite given he was texting me for 4 minutes trying to get gate code, before I realized my phone was on sleep mode. “This location has 2 ladies that work the front of house and grill that make this place the best Krystal location in town. The store is clean, the service is with real effort and the food is perfect. When a Krystal burger is cooked right, it's like cotton candy, it melts in your mouth. Love these 2 ladies. Been coming here for years.“

“I'm a 1 star for a petty situation. I asked the guy at the order machine about the empanadas if I can get 2 chocolate empanadas and he asked someone and then he told me I could. I do not like Caramel so they agreed I could get the 2 chocolate, I get to the window and pay my money and grabbed my sack only to get home and have 1 chocolate and 1 Caramel that mad me mad because I asked before paying so they gave me what they wanted. The empanadas were horrible, hard and tasted like paper. I called back 3 times and a machine came on so I guess they don't answer the phone at night around 1am. They just lost a customer over $3.27 lie.“

“What’s up Red Bank Hardee’s? I usually am doing these when it’s bad but today it’s awesome! From the drive thru cashier to the quality of the food I’m so very impressed! It was hot and fast! Thank you and just wanted to say how incredibly awesome you all were today!“

“Sabrina welcomed my grandson and I in. Asked him what he would like to eat. Guessed his order, she new exactly what he wanted. Our food was fresh and hot. And the cinnamon roll was so good.
The rest of the staff was also very nice.

“It was late, but there was a staff member outside taking a break, who greeted me politely and cheerfully. The lady who took my order was fast and accurate. My tray was delivered to my table!!! Wow! I had never had the mac n cheese, but I will frequently now. It was delicious, hot, smooth and creamy. My burger was tasty and hot. Very good all around!“

Everytime I've interacted with, or even just walked in and have overheard these bright, strong peeps in how they listen and interact with their customers, has been so refreshing to see, hear and almost feel. “This little wing place is off the beaten path. But don’t let that fool ya! They were busy with everyone walking in and carrying out food. The wings are some of the best we have had. It’s in a little plaza. The prices are low and the portions are large? You definitely get your moneys worth! If you’re in Chattanooga you have to give them a try I don’t think you will be disappointed! H y also have other items like friend rice, shrimp baskets and Philly cheese steak and fish baskets.“

“I’ve lived in the area all my life, and Steak ‘n Shake has always been good. I’m not sure what has changed, but the burgers are SO amazing recently. It has become one of my favorite spots to eat, and my favorite burger in Chattanooga.“

“The morning staff here all together make up an awesome crew. They are courteous and friendly. The store front is clean inside and out and the bathrooms were surprisingly very clean. Drive through can get long but quickly moves along and the lobby was quick to order quick to serve and then eat. I would recommend this Hardee’s to anyone local and those who are visiting.“

“I come for the food. However, Lately I keep coming back because of the service. This location has an absolutely phenomenal team in place. I want to give a special shout out to Leechy.

He has such an amazing attitude and is just a pleasure to do business with.

If you’re having a rough day… I highly recommend stopping by this Jimmy John’s location for a great pick me up. As a bonus, I recommend asking to say hello to Leechy! I promise you’ll leave with a smile every time.“

Bacon was nice & crispy, drinks from Sonic are always consistent, & deal prices are really good compared to other big chains around the area. Honestly, I’m starting to notice an increase in quality of Sonic Burgers over the last year or so, & this location was no exception. Overall good meal & kudos to Jude for being an excellent server.“

“They had a $7.99 special where you chose either ham and cheese, chicken or fish. It came with two potato cakes, two mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, a small drink and a peach pie. Pie. It was the best sandwich I've had in a long time! Even though everything was small sized, I was stuffed by the time I finished. Absolutely delicious and the service was awesome! “This is a good, solid Arby's! I placed an online order and went to pick it up through the drive-thru. When I arrived, the gentlemen on the speaker was very nice and immediately had me pull around. My food was already ready and he handed it me in a sealed up bag with my receipt and straw attached to it as well. Again, the guy was very nice.

I got the new turkey gobbler sandwich and honestly it was pretty good! I think it was just a touch on the smaller side and maybe missing something (Firehouse offers a gravy with their Thanksgiving sub, maybe that would be good), especially when considering the price which seemed just a tad high. My potato cakes were hot, fresh, and crispy. I did also get the new apple pie shake (which affected my price), but let me just tell you - that shake IS THE TRUTH! The perfect, delectable blend of creamy, apple-y, cinnamon-y goodness all partying together in a frozen treat. I highly recommend the shake.

All in all - good food (with a GREAT SHAKE), quick and friendly service, decent value, this worked great for lunch.“

“This Sonic is my go to place for when I want some chili cheese tots. The only issue they have looks like is staffing. I went by around 9:45 am on a Sunday and the guy who was running the drive thru also was car hopping as well. This guy was doing great so no knock on him or the staff that was working. Hopefully they will be able to hire more people.“

“Great Arby's! The crew has some actual Employee Of The Month titles and the new management has really made sure things are done right. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable, I enjoy the Chive tv funny videos they show too.
This is a great place to stop and power up, I love the Jamocha shakes too!“
