Miss Katie behind the bar saw that my order was wrong and even though I wasn't planning on sending it back, she still had a whole new order sent out in less than 5 minutes. Sit at the bar, and these ladies WILL see that you are taken care of, period. The outfits are really just a bonus. Highly recommend!“

“The best restaurant experience we have had in years. I just cannot say enough great things about the food, the service ( the team work was incredible) and the zero proof menu blew me away.. I’m a retired drinker and it just made my whole day having fun and artfully crafted drinks to choose from. From one restaurant family to another we wish you all the most success. Lang ( don’t hate me if I’m getting it wrong, it’s been a couple days) was spectacular. So kind, so knowledgeable! Also, the bartender was crushing it..making the beverages, and helping their team by running them out. I’m rambling now but kudos to yall! Cheers to many more years!“

“We made a reservation and were given a nice private table by friendly staff. I noticed the wall next to our table even had USB ports to charge your phone! We decided to try the cocktails and were happy to find they were expertly crafted and delicious! My husband had a bourbon - The Frazier Fashioned. I had a drink called Fear and Loathing which was just the right amount of tartness plus a slightly smoky flavor from the salt on the rim. Main course was NOLA poboy for me and husband got the Chilean salmon with grilled caesar romaine lettuce. Poboy shrimp was just right spicy and smoky with the bonus of a buttermilk biscuit in the broth. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right- moist, flaky and yummy. Dessert was coconut lime tres leches prepared by their trained pastry chef. We loved the tangy creaminess of this dessert! We will be back!“

“I loved the food and our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional. HOWEVER, the Boathouse was busy and 2 of their bartenders were AWFUL - really Bad attitude. Respect for the customer no matter what the consequences would’ve been better. I was a waitress once. I understand what it’s like to be busy but I never made a customer feel like they were less than or an annoyance. After all, it’s what the job is all about - customer service.“

“First time here. I had the Baja Omelet with a side of tater tots. The omelet was an explosion of great flavor! The tater tots tasted kind of like a mix of hash browns and hush puppies and were also delicious! Service was friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable with nice decor. They allow you to bring your dog in to go to the patio if you like to bring your pup along when you eat out. Free parking was a definite plus for eating here!!!“

“Amazing! Where do I even begin! The atmosphere reminiscent of a steak house I loved called Starks in Northern California. You smell the smokey wood fire smell with none of the downside. Air is clear and fresh. Kitchen is visible from most the restaraunt. Server Robbie was truly a server. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive. On his suggestion I tried the whipped feta appetizer which came with fresh made pita. I love feta but this was a whole new level with honey in the center. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was tender and juicy on inside and nice crispy on the outside. Entrees are A la carte. I ordered the charred gem lettuce and wood oven roasted fingerling sweet potatoes. Hubbie shared all my sides and tried some of his chicken. Perfect meal! Then we ordered dessert. Because really that's why we came. My coworker raved about their tres leches cake. And it was topped with fresh whipped cream not from a can.hand whipped. Yummy. We will be back. So satisfied. Definitely fine dining but not snobby and dress as you like.“

“My wife and I got an order here when we stayed at the adjoining motel this past week. I got an Italian omelet with home fries, which was perfect in flavor (my wife tasted the omelet and agreed), and was large enough for a second meal. She absolutely loves the biscuits. Also, the service was fantastic. First time we ate there, but not the last. It's worth driving from Indianapolis to enjoy. “My food was delicious beyond my expectations,I came to this locations and got the trifecta breakfast with the waffle! I also got four pieces of bacon,side of cheese grits,Shrimp and grits and Tropical sunrise… which with the waffle and cheese grits was the star of the show.I also got a chicken sausage which I will say you guys may have to go back in the lab with that one or get tradition sausage patties also…Additionally the Uber eats ordering thing needs a option to add cheese to the eggs!“

“This was our first time. We went to the location at Cherokee Blvd. LOVED the French toast and Farm Stand tacos. But we were placed right between two other families and felt like I was at their table. It was really loud and I struggled to talk to my husband for hearing the conversation within elbows reach of me.“

“The food and service was great. My daughter and I ordered flap jacks for the younger kid which came with bacon and eggs. The teens ordered waffles and bacon and potatoes. My daughter had steak eggs and potatoes. I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was friend to perfection. “I have been on a bit of a BBQ tour lately and thought I would put Sugar's on the list. I'm glad I did. I had the ribs with greens and mo' rockin stew. I thought the ribs were really good. Very tender, moist with good smoke. They have several sauce options that not only have good flavor but we're quite distinct from each other which was fun and delicious.I don't have enough experience with greens to compare but they were tender and not bitter and I thought really good with the clearly great sauce. The mo' rockin stew was nice too. Kind of a chicken and bean soup that was a nice change from the usual baked beans. The meal came with cornbread muffins. They were good with corn kernels and pieces of jalapenos. They were moist but probably the least noteworthy part of the meal.The restaurant sits up on a hill and has a nice view of Chattanooga. You can sit inside or out on the deck. There are goats on the property which are fun and friendly. The waitress was polite and pretty on top of everything. The cashier/hostess was a nice surprise. Energetic, friendly and engaging she was a nice throw back to classic American hospitality. Overall the whole experience was really enjoyable. I will definitely be back. “This is a great place to grab a bite to eat, we got the smash burgers and DID NOT REGRET IT! They have this bacon sauce that makes the burger beyond delicious!I tried the chips and phew, they gave me a ton of them, she got the French fries. The chips are decent.We’ve since been and got the buffalo chicken dip, awesome as well.The staff are all so nice. This is a great place!“

“This place is absolutely wonderful!! We have been several times and it never disappoints. Their drink menu is just as well thought out and delicious as their food menu.Their wings!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness the WINGS!!!! They are an absolute must. Their grits ,"Skeeter Style" is also ?. It's a beautiful restaurant in a wonderful location. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. It's just a wonderful place to go.Parking: The parking lot is a pay lot but you just select the 15 minute option (free) and they will take care of you at the hostess desk. You just tell them what lot you are in.“

“This was my first time there and my wife got the ribeye which they cooked perfectly. I got the sweet tea brined pork chops which were the best pork chops I have had outside Mike's. We also got the pork belly appetizer which was amazing. The only downside was it was busy and our server was slower to get to us and ask us if we needed anything.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a weird elevator that you have to ask for and if you went alone I am not sure how you would. I found this frustrating being in a chair but understand but with it being. New building you think it would be designed better“

“I like the owners, but not so much the service. We ordered food that came decorated with whole garlic cloves. A waitress pointed out that the dish had too much garlic and made a gagging face. That surely boosted our appetites. Unacceptable.“

“Mary’s plate lunches are the best! No cans in her kitchen. Homemade desserts are delicious. And the grill is manned by Christopher and they will melt in your mouth YUMBO! The staff is attentive to your needs and they love the customers. No wonder they have been and stayed in business since 1918. Family owned and now run by the 4th generation. I’ve even seen the 5th and 6th generation helping when they are “in the weeds”. You owe it to yourself to eat there.“

While it can be a bit loud at full capacity, I imagine that's the price you pay for the acoustics in an old building. It has a nice feel to it, the drinks are top notch, highly recommend.“

“I took my girlfriend here on a date and didn't realize it was jazz night. It was nice to hear live music and didn't really mind. The food was amazing! We ate the salad, salmon, Burger, and carrot cake souffle. Everything was delicious! Our server was very kind and informed the kitchen on the dishes we were splitting and also boxed our leftovers for us. The kitchen may have been very busy because in total we were about a little over an hour and a half. I recommend eating here.“

“Hello Monty has good food. It is not family friendly, however. We went here to eat for my first Mother’s Day and none of the multiple restrooms had a changing table. We asked management to confirm to make sure we hadn’t overlooked one. We had to walk down the street to our car to change the baby during the middle of our meal. Please add changing tables to your restrooms. It’s very frustrating to be in the middle of a good meal and then have to walk down the street to change your baby’s diaper.“

“If you are not going to Lily’s for catfish, Friday, you are missing out. Wife and I were there at 10:30 which I thought was too early to get the catfish but we really wanted some and they happily obliged. Hush puppies, french fries, coleslaw, string beans everything was great. Hot stuff was really hot. I was packed. Had to take a box back home. Great prices too. Interior is a cross between Salvation Army and your grandmother‘s kitchen. I’m thinking that’s how they keep the food quality up and prices down.“

“A fantastic and unique dining experience! You don't see German restaurants that often, so, especially considering the high food standards in Chattanooga, my wife and I had to try this one. I wound up having a sampling of much of their menu in their spätzle plate: two brats over spätzle, kraut, and potato cakes. It was delicious! My wife, who wasn't sure what to expect (having never eaten German food before) had their pimento cheese sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was not too crowded or overwhelming (surprising, as it was a Friday night). “I love it here! The food is so freaking good. Like top 10 places in chatt good. They have a basement which is more of a bar feel and can get crowded. They have outside patio seating which is nice and private and also seating upstairs. They serve a mean brunch so you have to go multiple times to get the full experience. If you are visiting Chatt you have to stop here.Vegetarian options: So amazing. This is a gem for vegetarians in the chatt area. Especially if you like spice and good cocktails.Parking: There are some free street parking spots on the street and paid parking on the street. We have never struggled to find parking so matter how busy the area is.“
