“I come here every so often to order food and read my books since it’s always so cozy. The people who service the restaurant are always nice as well. In my opinion, this location does such a good job at giving takeout orders! I’ve ordered twice from this location as far as takeout when I can’t come in and both times I’ve gotten my order right on the time specified. I’m also not sure who the employee was last month when I ordered that put three pieces of the baguette bread instead of the one I ordered with my soup and sandwich but just know you deserve a hug before work everyday. I was not expecting that but extra food makes everyone’s day even if it may have been an accident.“

“We went here for our annual office Christmas dinner. The food was incredible- but the service was TOP NOTCH. All the servers were great but our main server Grace was knowledgeable as most of us had never been there before, our guys can get obnoxious and she handled them great and she was on top of everything. We didn’t feel rushed or like we were waiting for anything even though we spent over four hours enjoying our experience. 5 out of 5 stars would def recommend and am going to personally bring family back for celebrations. “This weekend is my husband and my anniversary. I have been dying to go and try The Walnut Kitchen. At first I had mixed thoughts. But I am so glad we decided to celebrate there! My husband ordered a Tomahawk steak and the process was out of this world. We just left the restaurant 5 minutes ago and already planning our next visit. “Amazing first visit for hubby and mine anniversary on 5/28/22. Our server Konnor was wonderful and friendly, never felt ignored even though they were busy. Escargot was the best we’d ever had. Truffle fries to die for. Duo of duck and trout almandine fantastic entrees. Make sure to save room for dessert! Wonderful crème brûlée for myself and profiteroles for hubby (I did not try since am GF). Cocktails also delish although the whiskey sour could use some work/sprucing up. Can’t wait to return!!“

“I love the food at first watch. But today I had to take it Togo because I couldn’t get adequate service to take care of my toddlers needs. I literally just needed my server to acknowledge the fact that I was staring him down to get something for my toddlers meal. I had to go to the service area to grab Togo boxes. And I had to get the cashier to get the other thing I needed. Because standing up and staring at the server was not enough. Not a single other person stopped by either. This is way different than the years I spent working with first watch.“

“My wife and i visited this morning and were thoroughly disappointed. The food was not what we enjoyed a year ago. We live out of town and so looked forward to our meal. Potato casserole was part of my order and cold and nasty tasting. Omelet was filled with unidentifiable contents. The pancake my wife ordered was adequate. “My wife, our two sons and I had dinner here on Father’s Day this year. We were welcomed to the restaurant by the manager who was acting as host. He provided us with some kids’ menus but apologized for the lack of crayons. We were served by Elijah who did a great job getting our drinks and breadsticks as well as taking our order. Elijah actually returned to our table to advise us of possible cross-contamination affecting our sons’ orders (they have food allergies) so we opted for alternatives for them. We appreciated how attentive and informative both he and the restaurant were. Indeed the manager who helped bring our food also emphasized the allergy free dishes for our our children. Our food was brought in a timely manner and while my lasagna tasted alright my wife’s chicken alfredo dish tasted like it had been cooked earlier and then reheated as the chicken was “rubbery” (we had arrived at the restaurant around 7.30pm and the restaurant closed at 10pm so the food should have been of a better quality). The boys’ spaghetti dishes were fine. In terms of the customer service we received from both our server Elijah and the manager we couldn’t have asked for any better. However, unfortunately, my wife’s meal was below acceptable standard so I cannot give an overall 5 star rating due to the 3 star food rating.“

“The lady that I dealt with last night was one of the most sweetest people I have met in a long time. I was picking up an order to deliver and my phone went dead. My car charger wouldn't charge my phone, so I took the food back in and explained. She grabbed my phone and stuck it on her charger and let me use their phone to call DD so I could unassign. My phone charged enough to finish what I needed, hung up with DD, and delivered my order in time. It's rare that you find nice people in this world anymore, especially the restaurant industry. Again, she was the most sweetest and not because she helped me, but she never quit smiling while dealing with me and waiting on customers. While I was pacing back and forth waiting for support to answer, I looked around and it's one of the cleanest places I have been to. I didn't see one person on a phone or not working, that's very rare these days. Thank you again for being so patient and understanding with me!!!❤ Thank You!!!!“

“After having lived in Maryville for almost two years now, my boyfriend and I finally tried Lemon Grass last night and it did NOT disappoint. The service was great and fast, the food was so good. It was light and cooked absolutely perfectly, the sauce wasn’t over powering like others I’ve had. Everything we got tasted delicious from the spring rolls to my Pad See Eu that I ordered and my boyfriend’s fried rice and sushi rolls. Hands down THE BEST meal I’ve had at a Maryville restaurant since moving here. We will definitely be back!“

“I had a girl's day with one of my friends and we were starving because Chick-fil-A was busy and we didn't want to wait for them. So we went ahead to Little Tokyo and had the hibachi. I ended up ordering the salmon and scallops. The soup and salad were fantastic with the ginger dressing. And the food was good.“
