“Some of the best sushi I've had. All of the meat fried rice is good. Miso soup is great.

I just tried the hot and sour soup. Sad to say it was very disappointing compared to their other dishes. It tasted like weak miso with soy sauce in it. It wasn't spicy at all.“

“My nephew loves it so we came for lunch after church. I had Tacos de Carne Asada. My meat was a little bit over cooked but everything else was good. I think my SIL said they seemed down a waiter so service was a bit slow but not bad. They have a large menu so I will definitely come back next time I visit!!“

“Some of the best sushi you will find in Memphis area. I’ve eaten at both restaurants within this week and both excellent. Man who complained about slow service evidently doesn’t know we are in a pandemic and expect service to be the same as before. Patience is key. I will say service was fast both times. “My family and I went in and were somewhat apprehensive after the last restaurant we went to. However as soon as we walked in the staff was incredibly friendly. The place was clean and had a fun atmosphere where you could either listen to music, watch tv, or simply talk to the people you came with. The food portions were huge. It was so good. “To be honest, I lived in Texas for a few years and my hopes for Memphis Mexican restaurants were not high. However, I’m pregnant and I was craving authentic Mexican food really bad. I looked at photos of every Mexican restaurant in Memphis to try to find the one that looked like the most authentic atmosphere and I landed on El Mezcal. We showed up on Saturday night at 7pm and were seated immediately. The second we were seated, they already brought us chips and salsa and were asking for our drink orders. We unfortunately didn’t catch our server’s name, but it was her first day and she was absolutely on top of it. We ordered nachos with chicken, Burritos Azteca, and Fajitas. I don’t remember the type of fajitas, but it had chicken, shrimp, steak, and cactus on it. All the food was absolutely phenomenal, large portions, and by far worth the cost, which was only right under $60. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, definitely the best experience I ever could have hoped for. Thank you!“

“I had been looking up the # on Google to order a pizza here because where I live, we don’t have a Pizza Hut that will deliver and I was already across the street at Walmart, so google caused me to read a few reviews and I was reluctant to order after what I read, but I really was craving a PH pizza, so I figured I’d just go in and see what it was like. The lady at the counter was very friendly and even told us about a special so we got a whole extra pizza for just a few bucks more. The pizza was exactly as we ordered and tasted just like I remember PH pizza tasting from 20 years ago- so at least they are consistent! We had nothing but a positive experience! “Delicious Chinese food, great variety and above all there is more opportunity for those who are not fans of spicy food.I bought the house's special rice, happy family, fried dumplings stuffed with crab and spring roll, and they also serve you a portion of extra white rice.Recommended, the rice was delicious, the sautéed vegetables and happy family protein looked good but the flavor was weak. However, it is an excellent choice.“

“Yes this is a shopping center that has the world famous Huey Burger, in Cordova Tennessee. Huey's has been around forever this is the second location. The owner of Huey's played drums in the box tops. Their Madison Burger is to die for. Bacon mushrooms lettuce tomato. The burger is so big I had to cut it and have just so I could eat it. I would suggest bringing your own water, a soda in here is 3.50 . I like the fact that you can see every single sporting event going on at the same time.“

“My 2.5 year old and I went into this location today after an appointment she had at a local hospital. We live over an hour away and I haven’t had Gus’s in over 2 years. I was so excited to come. The service is very friendly. The food of course is excellent and super fresh! It was raining before we left so I went into the restroom to get my daughter ready to leave. She made the comment that the “toilet was really nice.” which I chuckled so told the staff about it as we were heading out. One of the employees, Lucas, let my daughter hug him at her own will unpromted and gave her a small bear he had attached to his phone. It made her day! She was pleasant and helpful in picking the perfect meal for our family.We went with the 8pc family meal - came with 2 breast, 2 wings. 2 thighs and 2 drumsticks with baked beans, cole slaw and fried green tomatoes.She forewarned us that the flavors are not the same as the franchise flavors. I was a bit scared as I highly enjoyed what I had in Austin. It was such a happy surprise that the chicken here was even better! The skin is much spicier, and the meat was just as juicy.The cole slaw was my favorite side, with the baked beans following and the fried green tomatoes coming in 3rd place.If you enjoy fried chicken, I would definitely recommend a stop at this tried and true TN state staple!
