“I always prefer the “made from scratch” & “Mom and Pop” type places instead of the big name restaurants. I happen to be looking at a Chattanooga magazine at my daughter‘s house while visiting last week and ran across a little feature on the Bluegrass Grill. Knowing I would be taking one of my daughters to lunch for her birthday while visiting, this sounded like the perfect place to try. And by golly, it certainly was the perfect place! Both of my daughters and I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and were pretty picky about our hollandaise sauce. My three grandsons enjoyed their pancakes and French toast and one took a chance at the jalapeño bacon and loved it. My daughters have lived in the area for several years but neither had been there before. I know they will be back and so will I during future visits! And reading the story behind the grill. What a blessing your history has been to so many people! Thank you for your compassion and your heart’s mission. That made the visit to the Bluegrass Grill even more special! God Bless you all!”

We went for the Wagyu steak feast and it was absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth flavor, and beautifully presented. The ambience here is just next level—modern, stylish, and still very warm and welcoming. It feels like the kind of place that’s perfect for a date night, special occasion, or just treating yourself. Our server, Carson, was phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu well—he made great suggestions and made sure everything was perfect the whole evening. We also loved all the sides and the way everything is served—it’s such a fun and interactive dining experience. The drinks were also top-notch and paired so well with the meal. If you’re in Chattanooga and looking for an unforgettable dinner, Zaya is a must. We’ll definitely be back!”

The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. “I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.
She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.
This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.
Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

The pizzas were delicious and my son tried hard to put a dent in his spaghetti but it was a large portion for a kids meal. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the lasagna,. “The gentlemen behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. We got two of the plates, and while they said it would be a ten minute wait, I do not believe it took more than five or six.
My daughter got the shrimp with regular sauce, and I got the crab & lobster with spicy sauce. When I asked if the sausage was pork, was told it was, so I told my daughter she could have mine. The lovely gentleman said he could substitute two eggs for the sausage instead.
I want everyone to know that the spicy sauce was truly DELICIOUS! It was just the right amount of heat without being distracting or overpowering, and the taste was phenomenal! After reading the great reviews, we drove down from Soddy, and it will NOT be the last time we make that drive.
The amazing flavors were well cooked into every bite, and the portion size was enough for both of us to have leftovers tomorrow.
They do have seating for four, but it appears to be mostly take out business. There was a TV in the customer area, and there was good music playing while we waited. It was absolutely worth the wait to get back home!

It was pricey. Maybe they can offer someone to bring your food to your car since there was not eating seating to wait for food or a system that let you know your food was ready. I never had authentic ramen before and I ordered the spicy crab ramen. It was so good. I don’t like an “over-powering” spice, but a medium “kick” so you can taste that spice is “there.” That was exactly what I got! It was a “perfect” blend of spice and the crab was tender, flavorful, delicious. I would recommend this ramen dish! Service was 5-star! Felt completely catered to! Ask for Annika. We had made a reservation a couple days earlier, and had no wait at all. It was not crowded, and probably only half full.
I've seen people comment on the cost. Our meal was $113 before tip, which I think is reasonable for good quality food in a downtown location. We don't drink so that keeps cost lower.

The Red Marina sauce and the meatballs are so spicy they will make your eyes water and your nose run. The garlic knots were just soaking in olive oil and butter so bad I could of rung them.out like a wet dish towel. I had a GI tear a few months ago that I almost lost my life to, and this definitely triggered my stomach issue. Then on top of that Our pizza costed almost $32 dollars, they had a TEENAGER as a manager and he was trying to get us to order a salad or appetizer in place of the pizza so he didn't lose money on their lousy nasty food,rather than refund us our money back, which we weren't refunded our bill. If you are offered a seat at the bar take it! 10/10 recommend! To the manager, I hope you know you have a great staff, which is rare these days. We had just left another restaurant (A.F.) because the guy behind the bar was so rude to us and our server. We walked out of there and into “Milk and Honey”. Thank you Mattson and Emily!”

Our server, Carson, was phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu well—he made great suggestions and made sure everything was perfect the whole evening. We also loved all the sides and the way everything is served—it’s such a fun and interactive dining experience. The drinks were also top-notch and paired so well with the meal.
