“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. Sky engaged in a friendly conversation with a very sweet, personal touch; we will remember to ask for her on our next stop!“

“Good burger and french fries joint, or sandwich and chips. This is one of the nicer Armando's locations in Chattanooga,as there are a few. This restaurant should not be confused with Ankers Hoagie's and sandwiches,people make this mistake all the time. I give this an overall 3.5 out of 5. The only thing that could get better is the staff. All family and friends. Like most family ran businesses,if they're having a bad day,it shows. But a great spot to order take out lunch.“

“Each morning I stop by the drive through to grab my coffee (Frappe) and sweet tea for the day. I work at the urgent care near by so it’s convenient. Each day I am greeted by this wonderful lady with the happiest voice and most positive energy. She completes my order quickly and without any issues. And she is so fast. “I’ve lived in the area all my life, and Steak ‘n Shake has always been good. I’m not sure what has changed, but the burgers are SO amazing recently. It has become one of my favorite spots to eat, and my favorite burger in Chattanooga.“

“I love this place and would recommend it to anyone and hate leaving reviews but today was just… not it.. We’ve always loved coming here and typically have a great experience, but unfortunately this visit was a disappointment. Our party of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids) arrived at 5pm, placed our order about 10 minutes later, and got our drinks with no issues. After an hour with no food, the manager came over to let us know our server had entered our order but never actually sent it to the kitchen. About 20 minutes later, food started coming out in pieces not all at once. By this point, our two oldest kids (7 & 8) were in tears because they were so hungry. The 4-year-old’s meal still wasn’t out when everyone else was eating. When we mentioned it, our waitress simply said, “sorry about that,” and moved on to her next table. Kinda felt dismissive, really. We truly love this establishment and have had many positive visits, but this time was frustrating and disappointing for both the kids and adults at our table.“

I've gotten the Frisco that was really good too. Employees in the evening are super friendly and helpful and my order so far has always been correct.“
