A good variety and again plenty to fill you up.The two hot dogs and fries, and the 1/2 sandwich and soup are my favorites.Nice mellow atmosphere, plenty of room, not too noisy and wheel hair access. Biggest issue is parking, but that is a issue for all downtown. Just avoid driving downtown at high lunchtime hour, hour and a half, and you won't have a problem.Definitely worth a visit, oh yeah. “Their burgers were really good and with a lot of unique combinations. I did order some things deep fried and everything that was, tasted burnt. Not sure if they needed to change their oil or adjust their timers. But they did make it right by giving me something else. Can't be mad about that.“

“It was great stopping by the original pals and the service was sudden and friendly as well as it just being the best fast food hands down. Ive ate at many pals drive throughs and its all been great sudden service with the best fast food and the original pals walking in was just remarkable. I have to mention the staff was very professional and very hard workers with an employee outside sweeping the area and taking care of things outside as well as carrying out business professionally on the inside.“

“The N roan st location is good. I’ll give them that. Sometimes the front is hateful when getting a Togo order corrected even if it wasn’t any fault of your own. I dined in and had a better experience at the other location next to ETSU. Con queso dip and chips are 10/10!! Also the taco salad with black beans is so phenomenal. My go to for lunch or dinner.“

Not that flavorless iceberg lettuce so many places give you. The chicken is also full of smoky flavor.It's my go-to every time I eat there! “What an awesome find! We were on our way back to Georgia and stopped here to try something different. We got there and it was drive thru only and the line was LONG so we almost gave up. I am very glad that we stayed. The line was very fast moving and the food was worth the wait. I had the chili burger and it was awesome. My wife had the chili dog and was awesome too. All of our kids loved it! If we are ever in Bristol again, this will be a must!“

“When you want the best fries, truly home made burgers not processed with whatever they put in them nowadays, and amazing service this is the best place to go. I can't deny how amazing the manager and staff always are. And if anything is ever wrong they don't only fix it but they help you remember a time when true customer service existed and customers felt like family. Especially regulars. Always a recommend. “Ok Im going to start by saying it what is bugging me.....Where is the signage for the "Thought of the day"? That needs to go up b/c that is a part of Pal's and if you start taking things out where does it stop. Now Pals has good food no matter which Pals you go to but this Pals has an issue and it seems to come from young staff. I eat at this one alot and they seem more worried about talking about school then talking with customers and getting orders right. Now I am all about having a good atmosphere at work but you have to balance good food and good atmosphere. Now we can also talk about that awful turn at the top of the hill but that poor driveway has had enough work done Ill leave that alone lol!!“

“We came for a basketball tournament and needed a place to eat between games. We had 30 plus come in. The staff were amazing. They didn’t get overwhelmed and they were extremely friendly. The food was AMAZING! We begged them to open a restaurant down in kentucky were we are from. Nothing like a small restaurant with amazing hospitality and the best food!! Thank you for putting up with our chaos and being the best we have found while in Kingsport!“

“Service has always been good. I really appreciate that they'll make lunch food in the morning. I get thinking about a JR Pal with cheese often.The only complaint I could ever have is that the food can be meh sometimes. Bread will taste old or burnt, fries salted too heavily , or tea tasting old and sour. This is only every once and awhile and typically when they're busy.Avoid trying to eat here during lunch hours, they will be lined up out in the road sometimes.Overall, I feel like Pals is generally a better deal than other burger places like BK, or Hardee's.“

“It's fast food. It's local. And it's open till 12 AM unlike most places. What more can you ask for in a Fast Food place. Especially one you don't even have to leave your car for? The food is of good quality and the staff is particularly friendly. A win win wouldn't you say?The workers here are REALLY good at getting to know the regulars. I should know. “Three of us ate here. We were greeted immediately, and the manager and staff were all very friendly. Two of us ordered Colorado omelets with pancakes, and one ordered the chicken fried steak (which was huge) and eggs. The food arrived quickly, was the right temperature, and tasted really good. The staff worked very well together, with various people checking on us, delivering food, and making sure our drinks were filled. The restaurant was busy, but we never felt like we were left wanting for anything. One of our group ordered the Blueberry Pancakes, and we were impressed to see that they actually liked like the picture on the menu. We all enjoyed our food and would be happy to eat here again.“

“After picking my parents up from a very delayed flight at Tri Cities Airport, they were very hungry so we stopped in to this location. It was almost 11pm. I walked into the lobby (closes at 10pm) as they had not locked the door. The employee stated the lobby was closed and that the store was closed. I explained my 82 year old parents had been flying all day from Tampa and just wanted a burger. She sent me through the drive through and made their meals. She even threw in an extra fry. The food was good. I had not eaten at BK in many years. We will be back to that location the next time we are in that area to do an airport pick up or drop off. Thank you for feeding my hungry parents. I did not get female employees name for a shout out. Sorry about that.“

“I stopped here to go visit a sick family member in the hospital and the lady Courtney was so nice. Gave me a great experience here and put a smile on my face even though I was having a bad day the food is hot and delicious. The workers are very clean looking in the bathrooms were immaculate. The place is the best McDonald’s. Ronald McDonald is truly smiling down on each and everyone of employees that walk into that business. “When it comes to food establishments, I'll tell you what I like. Kind, generous, fun loving individuals. I walked in dressed like the King today. I was massively overheating from walking all the way from Allendale Falls. Of course the staff immediately indulges in the fact I'm dressed like a King... in a Burger King... In Kingsport. So I go to get me a cup of water, and realizing how overheated I must be, they gave me a free medium sized cup on the house. Now that is good customer service. I never asked for a freebie, but they gave me one. I greatly appreciated it. And now, here's my way of expressing my gratitude.“

“This place is usually amazing to stop and grab a bite to eat! But the other day I stopped and grabbed some popcorn chicken and tater tots, and the chicken was not cooked all the way, and the tots were cold. I was highly disappointed as I was looking forward to that meal!!!“
