47 Best Burger Restaurants near Gray

“Just wanted to express genuine gratitude towards the workers here. My husband and I hardly have extra cash to get fast food (and it’s usually Pals that we crave) and when I say I’m hardly ever let down, thank you! My husband once worked at Pals and he knows how tough it can be. But thank you all for always doing your best even if is your worst day. You all truly are making someone’s day better. All this for a hot dog and patty melt 😅“

“A friend and I got two Whopper Hamburger Sandwiches, Two fries and Two drinks for Ten Bucks. Somebody's gonna get fired.“

“cheyenne and mylea were absolutely amazing!! i came through this morning to get an order of biscuits and gravy & i was blown away by the quality and precision of the service they provided, it's amazing to have this kind of crew on my daily commute. GIVE THEM A RAISE!!!“

“Came inside on Thursday around 6pm . The front counter guy was really friendly and helped me find I wanted to order. The Food was Great! The new Chicken Sandwich is the best one yet“

“The restaurant was clean when we arrived. We were greeted as we approached the front counter. The employees were very friendly and helpful as we placed our order, even giving us recommendations on a blizzard flavor to try. We received our drink cup and sat down while waiting for the food. It only took a couple minutes for our food to be delivered to the table. The food was hot and tasted great. I can easily recommend this location.“

“Quite unique find otw through Kingsport. And reading about the history of Pals was really cool. The food and service was excellent for a fast food provider. Definitely would prefer this over the other competitors. I took a photo of one of the three Pals we saw and got a really great shot to share 🥰
Keep doing your thing guys 😎🤙🏻“

“What an awesome place to grab a bite! There was literally something for everyone! I came with a group that had someone with celiac and a couple other folks were vegetarian. It’s not often we can go anywhere that everyone has plenty of options to choose from! The food portions were massive and super super good! My one tiny complaint is that it takes quite a long time to be prepared, and we were on a time crunch so we had to pack up our food and take it with us pretty soon after it arrived. But as long as you don’t have any time restraints, then this place is a 10! Affordable, delicious, and has lots of choices. I’ll def be back next time I’m in the area.“

“Audrey was SUPER! Food was excellent and served fast. Fried banana peppers were delicious! We're from WV and expected a local burger bar to be great. We were not disappointed.. Thanks to Audrey and your Team!“

“Let's be real, there isn't anything negative you can say about pretty much any Pals locations... Been going since I was a kid and have never been disappointed, even if a mistake is made on your order (which is VERY rare) they fix it no problem receipt or not. One time I came through the drive thru and forgot my debit card was locked so it declined it, they told me no problem it happens sometimes and literally gave me the food for free... No one else would even consider being so kind! Great food, great employees and amazing customer service!“

“Amazing!!!“

“From the hostess, to service, food, and drinks it was a fantastic dinner! We truly enjoyed our experience with our 4 kids! We had the nachos, burgers, wings, caesar salads, and mac and cheese and everything was so delicious! The manager was wonderful as well. We will be back!“

“Great food and great service!!“

“Went there yesterday for my birthday dinner after I saw a recommendation on how good the fries are there. I'm a fry person...always been my favorite food so when I hear a place has really good ones, I'm all in. It did not disappoint! I got the parmesan fries and they were so good!! I also got a burger that I was able to customize how I wanted it. It was really good too! I will definitely be back!“

“love the food ..just got a tea today but eat there often ...great people..“

“The staff at this location is amazing! My daughter and I eat here every time she has to come to Kingsport for the doctor and we always look forward to it!“

“Stephen assisted me and was a great help, he was very friendly and competent in his job!“

“Stopped here on my way through town. Had the chilli dog and fries and the recommended Peach Mello Yellow. Wow. Thank goodness I asked if there was anything else I should try because that drink is yummy. The chilli dog was ok and fries were good. Very friendly service. Cute building. This is a drive thru only and do not carry the infamous Peanut Butter milkshake. Had to stop at the other one to get that. Worth it!“

“We ordered the sampler platter of BBQ pork and chicken. Wow! The food was awesome. I’m not a fries person but was impressed with the Shack’s fries.“

“Best burger & fries around! 😋“

“I just picked up a veggie pizza which I have had before but not recently. The pizza was loaded with veggies and was fresh and so tasty! The lemon pie is pretty good too. Thanks for a very satisfying supper. I will definitely be back. I did not have to wait long at all.“

“This is a very delicious place and the food is great. Atmosphere is amazing, and the Service is good as soon as we got to five guys we ordered and it took 2 minutes restrooms are good they look really nice and I give the restaurant a 5 star because this is amazing.“

“I am usually very happy with my orders. I went through the drive thru, ordered a small burger, No Mayo, No Ketchup and a Chocolate Malt. The malt is ALWAYS delicious. My burger was dried out and there was ketchup (looked like they tried to scrape it off) that soaked into bun. The order was correct on my print out. Will not order that burger again. The young man at the window was very polite as always.“

“No inside dining, its drive threw only but, you order your food drive around the building and pay. By the time your done paying, even before I could my change put away, they were handing me my food!!! It was great!! Fast, convenient, and taste good, I especially like there fries, fresh and hot. Added bonus I've never paid more than 20 bucks for 2 people. So fairly inexpensive.“

“I wanted to share with y’all about two of your employees at this particular location that are so welcoming and friendly and they treat me like I am an old friend of the family. I visit this location daily for breakfast and sometimes for dinner. I have two locations that are closer to my home, but I choose to go to this one because of these two team members of yours, Marla and Morgan. They always make my day better when I see them. If I’m having a rough start to the morning they’re friendly chitchat, and smiles always make my day much better but again like I said these two are exceptional and I always go out of my way to see them at this location. I hope that they stick around with you guys for a long time because they are my favorites and I think they are people that I would want to hire and would want working for me if I were running my own business.“

“love this place amazing staff and atmosphere“

“Hands down the best place to be for shooting pool, hanging out with your friends, enjoying a cold beverage and great food. The staff is absolutely amazing. Very clean and healthy environment. Kids and dogs are welcome so that’s a huge plus. 10 out of 10 experience and absolutely enjoy going there.“

“Junior Cheeseburger is awesome. French fries have a perfect seasoning, fresh and tender.“

“One of the first say that we walked into the establishment a couple minutes before closing, and had no idea nor paid attention to the opening, closing sign on the front door.

Along with three other individuals that was ahead of us inside the store, we had placed our order and realized what time that it was.

Two minutes before closing, Carter and Josh took our order with ease. After serving the customers before us and our order as well, these two employees had all smiles and were very helpful and polite.

This was our first time in the store and moving forward we will be more mindful of the hours of operation.

Kudos to these two going out of their way to make everyone’s evening delightful and pleasant.

I wish that I could give more than five stars for everything on the board. The store was clean, the store smelt, great, and the environment was very friendly.

So close to closing, these two individuals took care of everyone and us and made the visit worth more than more can describe.

I would highly recommend this restaurant with all of the employees that is behind the lead of these two employees to anyone traveling or anyone in the area above and beyond!

Thank you Josh and Carter!!“

“It was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Their food was really good my best friend Michala works there too! :)“

“I just want you to know that me and my little dog Coco go through the drive-thru often. Some days are good, some days are bad. But you’ve got a good young man named Noah that is outstanding. He’s really a good guy.

I just wanted to share that with everyone. In the afternoon or evening say hi to Noah he’s a good guy.

UPDATE: This message is for the owner. You’ve got a group of great people working in the evening but YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE PEOPLE. In the evening you have one of the slowest drive-thrus I’ve ever been through. Shout out to Sierra, she is very good.“

“I've never had a bad experience at this Hardee's. The food is always fresh and the customer service is always spot on.“

“Tonight, {Thursday} during my dine in at Burger King 1540 East Stone Drive Kpt, I was greeted by BK employee John Who was working the front counter and took my order, John was very Courteous, Polite, Professional, and got my order correct the first time, he appeared very well trained, not to mention Customer Oriented. This is the type person I like to see when dining at a restaurant, this is what keeps me wanting to come back. The food was exceptional fresh & hot as well. Thank you John for such outstanding service. Keep up the good work, Burger King Should be very proud to have you as a employee. and hopefully advancing you in the near future. I look forward to you waiting on me again! Great Job, I'll be back. Thanks Again. Order # 27“

“We were greeted promptly and our server arrived shortly thereafter.
Drinks were brought out in short order and always kept full. Our table ordered the 2/$25 and a shrimp bowl.
All food was hot and fresh. The 2/$25 is a great deal
Our server was attentive, perhaps a little more to the gentleman in our group, but was always available for any requests.“

“Its decent but the breakfast is best service cud be a lil better“

“We got the fish sandwich. it was absolutely the worst fish sandwich I have ever seen!!!! It is rare for me to not eat something, but this was so bad I could not eat it!!!! It did not look anything like the picture on the menu. It made McDonald's fish sandwich look good.“

“I go here literally all the time they know me by my name and order. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food is usually pretty good! Only downside is sometimes they are very busy so it can be a pain to wait, but otherwise I love this place.“

“Very good prices for the amount of food you get. Tons and tons of options. There were not too many people eating inside when I was there. Only complaint I might have and not really a complaint. The menu has alot of choices on it and items are in weird spots. But again its not a knock on the place“

“My husband and I stopped in for dinner this evening. There was only one server and one cook but they were doing a phenomenal job and both deserve a raise! I didn't catch her name but our waitress had blonde curly hair and she was so sweet and personable. She's probably one of the best servers we've had especially considering she was doing tables and take out orders singlehandedly. The food was also very good, fresh, and came out quickly. I hope their manager sees this and gives them both well earned appreciation.“

“For a fast food joint, especially a Burger King, this is the cleanest, friendliest, and most efficient one. I would label this location as the go to Burger King in Kingsport. The management is professional; any issues and they will fix it. Fast food made simple.“

“One of my favorite fast food places. I lived in Johnson City for 18 years and I rarely had issue with this Dairy Queen. Everything is delicious. The employees do their jobs well. I guess my only minor complaint would be its small size. Small interior and small parking lot. Other than that though, this place is worth going to for soft serve and cheeseburgers.“

“Ordered the new strawberry froze slush no strawberry flavor to it husband ordered diet coke with cherry flavor very bland waste of money“

“Our first time here, and we absolutely loved it! The food was excellent! But the best part was our server, Heather, who delighted and entertained us the entire time, while meeting our every cuisine need. I had the KC’s macaroni and chicken Which came with garlic bread. And when I told her I could not eat garlic bread, she brought me a delicious sourdough roll. Service was impeccable. Other items our party had were The Titanic, Chips Dips and things, Big Daddy, Margie’s Cashew Chicken Salad, and the, Cowpoke. All were delicious. We will definitely go there again, but I’m going to make sure that Heather will be working that day because we enjoyed her service that much.“
