“We tried out this restaurant for the first time, though have driven by many a time. Parking lot usually full which is a good sign. Not very busy on the Tuesday we went. Service was outstanding but not bothersome and I tipped accordingly. We both had steaks with sides and salads. Steaks were cooked exactly correct (AND IM PICKY ABOUT THIS). Hers was seasoned correctly but mine a little too salty, might have been the marinade. Very large menu and we will definitely try more items. We spoke to other diners at next table who are regulars here. They said they are never disappointed. A very pleasant experience as other restaurants in this area are inconsistent with service and cooking abilities. Save me a seat at this place.“

Our burgers were burnt and BLACK. I had to call back their store 8 times before they answered. Their answer was "oh well call the owner" Dang, whose that?“

“This sandwich shop is excellent. My wife and I got the philly cheese sandwich and fries. They were great, fries were cooked perfectly, golden crispy outside, hot fresh and fluffy on the inside. The bread on the sandwich was great, meat was moist and tasty. The lemonade was very good. Prices were good, and I love supporting small businesses. The young man working the counter was full of energy and enthusiasm and very friendly. This country needs more youth like him! The place was clean and neat, of there was anything negative, the dinning area was a little warm. Can't wait to try the hot dogs.“

“My 1st time at a O’Charleys. We went to the one at South Mall Rd. In Knoxville Tn. The 4 of us all enjoyed our food.Lots of flavor & served hot !! The server Jodie was sweet & on the ball, we never had to ask for any refills, she was there doing it & so friendly..The hostess was very friendly & had the biggest smile & greeted everyone like she was your best friend..The manager was very friendly too. We will definitely go back ASAP .“

“We just went for the Fri night fish fry and we LOVED the catfish. The crinkle fries, slaw and hushpuppies were also good. It was packed with people and I thought they handled the crowd pretty well considering it was just their second time for this.“

“Cute little shop. Amazing service. The food was terrific. A ton of food for the money. Yes it's going to feel a little pricey but once you taste the ham and see the portion size it will all make sense..
Not a ton of seating inside, but if you're looking for a ham sandwich you'll be hard pressed to find a better one. And if you're getting ham to take home and cook, you'll never want to eat any other ham again.“

Kid-friendliness: Best to get there after 6 am. For the kiddos. It is not because of the people who work there either. Patrons can be a bit rowdy on weekends after closing down other establishments. But as an adult... sometimes that is where the entertainment is.“

“So far, the best BBQ I've sampled in Knoxville. It's not award winning IMHO but decent enough for a return trip. Pork bbq had good flavor and sauce was halfway between an NC vinegar style and KC style. Beans were passable but clearly their own small take on Van Camps Baked Beans recipe (I should know as it's the recipe I use at home). Hushpuppies were dang respectable though!“

“Contrary to some surprisingly negative reviews, I do like this place very much. I’m a lifelong Pennsylvanian and my fiancée is a lifelong Tennesseean. We were in town visiting her family this week as we both live up north now. The burgers were excellent, the service was acceptable, place was clean, prices were reasonable. I’ll be back when we come back to visit family again. I’m a fan of this place!“
