“Tonight my friends and I had the pleasure of being served by Anna at J. Alexander’s in Franklin, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down at the bar, she greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel comfortable right away!

Our cocktails were excellent. Each one was perfectly mixed, presented beautifully, and tasted great. Anna was attentive without hovering, checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed. She remembered our drink preferences after just one order and kept our waters filled without us having to ask. She also offered helpful suggestions for cocktails we might enjoy, which we really appreciated.

We come to J. Alexander’s a couple of times a week and have always had good service, but Anna stood out. She is professional, approachable, and clearly takes pride in her work! The atmosphere at the bar felt even more welcoming because of her.

It is not just about the drinks, it is about the overall experience, and Anna made ours great from start to finish. We truly enjoyed having her as our bartender and will definitely be asking for her again on future visits.

“Stopped in on a Friday night with a group of 9 and had great service! Kate was fantastic! Food was great (some things weren't very warm - but I realize harder with a large party). Our teenagers loved their meals so much they ordered seconds haha. Drinks were delicious! Cute place with lots of space and wonderful service! “How refreshing to find an Indian buffet again that is actually delicious. House of India may very well now be the beat Indian Reataurant in the Nashville area. Friendly staff, appropriately flavorful and spicy dishes (even on the buffet). So many buffets I've been to in recent years are overly sweet and bland. Not this place. If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.“

“Menu: slightly different from what you see on their website, so we were taken aback at first, but a lot of overlaps

Food: delicious! Forgot to take pictures of half of the things we ordered, but the table favorites were Burrata, Pesto, Focaccia. Everything we ordered tasted great.

Staff: Was friendly, but one of our guests ordered a fish entree and while they were bringing out everyone’s plates, our server told him to choose something else as they were out of that fish. I think they could have reached out to us earlier. However, they were extremely accommodating to our ever changing guest list and kept adding more tables to accommodate everyone.

Service: they don’t let you split the check more than 6 ways, so if you’re going there in large parties, be ready to Venmo each other.

Parking: plenty of parking spots right outside the establishment.

Vibe: other patrons were pretty quiet and nice. Overall, ambiance was great. Loved the chic decor of the place. The bar area is rather large but no noisy patrons there either.

Overall, very pleased with my experience. Would go again!

“My wife and I celebrated our 24th anniversary with dinner at Cork & Cow. Everything, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. Our reservation was for 9pm. We walked in at 8:45 and were seated immediately. Mike, our server, was quick to greet us and made excellent suggestions. I already knew I wanted the bone-in ribeye, but I wasn't settled on an appetizer. Mike suggested the pork belly: ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. My wife ordered the filet. Both steaks were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Dessert didn't seem likely, since I was starting to feel full, but I overheard another server mention a chocolate torte that had peanut butter mousse, so. . . O. M. G. As if the food and service weren't good enough, we were back in our hotel room by 9:45.“

“We made reservations through open table to meet out of town friends at Perry’s on a friday night at 6:30 pm but, when we arrived Perry’s didn’t have our reservation in the system and it wasn’t on my open table app (Thankfully I had screenshot the confirmation ) . “We got the house crispy, spicy shrimp, and dragon rolls and they were all delicious! I liked the size of the cut pieces and the amount of fillings in each bite. Also, the prices were pretty comparable to other sushi restaurants in the area. We got takeout this time, but we will have to come back to dine in because our brief wait in the restaurant was very peaceful with calming ambient music. I can’t wait to try other things on their menu!“

“I’m town for a a trip and discovered this place staff was quite friendly and helped with any menu questions we had. Got the Tikka Masala and Arachai Gobi pizzas and they were exceptional. Had cheese bread and chicken Alfredo as well and they were good. Honestly if you like Indian food this place is a must try. If you like pizza it’s a great place and I encourage you to branch out and try something new. 100% we will be back next time we’re in town.“

“Located within the McEwen Northside district, Jenni’s Splendid Ice Creams is a freestanding building endcapping the central area of a small shopping, dining, and park area. During peak hours, expect a decent line. They have two banks of the same flavors and serve by the half scoop so you can try multiple flavors. They also provide free samples on actual mini spoons rather than disposable spoons so you try before making your final selections. Flavors rotate and also change seasonally. However they don’t always have vanilla and we had to buy our little one a pint which they give you in a sealable insulated bag. The sprinkles don’t have an artificial coloring which I appreciate. Read their napkins to see the pride they take in making their ice creams. They have free water and a good amount of outdoor seating.“

A true hidden gem thats actually been around for years, but on a Saturday night, wasn't full? If you forgot about it, try it! The lobster rolls, apps, and drinks are always great and plentiful at what is today, a fair price. The OK: Service in general was not as strong as the food, but the manager checked in as soon as we had an issue and was very accommodative and friendly. The ugly: They delivered the wrong sushi to one guest. Quickly replaced it with the correct dish ordered. The 2nd sushi was way oversauced to the point where the shrimp seemed invisible and the seaweed was limp. So, not our favorite for sushi. Go for the Lobster role. You won't be disappointed.“

After twice asking our waiter for a Diet Pepsi twice in 30 minutes we asked one of the servers to bring to us. Half of our party was attempted to be served 40 minutes after the rest of the table was served and had already eaten but unfortunately they were brought the wrong order. Thus in total wait time was about an hour, no sorry was issued, no complimentary appetizer for them. We accidentally spilled some soy sauce and nothing was done to help us clean it up off the table. We asked 3 different times for extra ginger. Lettuce wraps brought to our table that didn't even belong to us. We always go here for special events and just regular dining but this was so disappointing. What happened?“

The menu features a selection of tasty dishes, it does feel somewhat limited though. The variety doesn't quite cover the broad spectrum of Mexican cuisine that you might expect.
