“My wife visited here about 6 months ago and got coffee on her way to the airport and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. We’re here for New Years and she made sure we came by. I got an iced white mocha, which is better than anyone I’ve ever had anywhere else and we also shared a Biscoff cheesecake which was absolutely incredible. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is amazing, you can’t go wrong if you come check this place out.“

“It’s been 25 years It’s been 25 years since we have eaten at Darfons in Donaldson. We were last there when we actually lived in Donaldson and it was in the old location on Donaldson Pike. I found everything about the new location excellent. The food, the service, the facility. I think that’s what a restaurant is supposed to be all about. 🧐 I’m so glad we made the 30 minute drive from West Nashville. It really wasn’t all that far. Upon arrival, the host quickly seated us at a nice table. I have family visiting including a nine month old and they made every accommodation. It was very nice. The next person we saw was John our waiter. He was knowledgeable and efficient and made several good recommendations. I asked him if I should order the prime rib or the lamb chops and without missing a beat he said the lamb chops. So I ordered them cooked medium, and they were probably the best lamb chops I’ve been served in a restaurant in Nashville. One exception might be midtown Cafe 30+ years ago. They were always awesome. We also ordered several specials, including the aged pork chop and the wahoo fish. Both were excellent. The place was packed and everybody seemed to be very happy. I had fibbed just a bit on the reservation and said it was my birthday. Who doesn’t love a free dessert? Best crème brûlée I’ve had in Nashville in a long, long time. The bread pudding was good not great as was the salted caramel ice cream. The trip home was delightful as I got our chauffeur to take us the long way home on Briley Parkway. We passed by Shopreiland and then the Opryland hotel. After that, there were a whole lot of trees on the way back to White Bridge Road. Rest assured it will not be 25 more years before I walk through the doors of Darfons . I could tell when I walked in that the place was all about food and they had a great handle on standards and consistency and absolute food quality. Very refreshing in this day and time. You’ll find Darfons on Elm Hill Pike very close to Donaldson Pike. Give it a try you won’t regret it.“
