As someone who recently came back from Japan dining at Kisser was a bit of a reminder of the great flavors and unique Japanese cuisine we experienced there.

This is a must stop for anyone looking for a casual date night with some delicious Japanese dishes (and some creative additions).“

“Red Ninja Sushi is absolutely worth 5 stars. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, with great attention to presentation. The sushi tasted clean and high quality, and everything came out exactly as expected.

We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. Visited every day that we were in Nashville and wish we could be there every weekend. And the people were even better. The portion is large and priced reasonably. We found this place online and was skeptical at first since it’s not a traditional set up restaurant, turned out to be such a hidden gem! Rolls were large with lots of fish not just a rice ball. Sushi and sashimi had huge portions. The Tuna special was so much tuna it was epic. About an hour or so before we walked over to eat I stopped in and got a menu and the ladies at the hostess podium were super kind. When we came back we were again met by a very helpful employee, Delilah. She sat us immediately and ended up being our server for the meal. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The service and the meal were perfect! We will absolutely be regularly returning and we will be requesting Delilah every time. Great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S.- They do lunch from 12-3pm, happy hour (including apps) from 3-6pm. And apparently they have a rooftop (kid friendly) open on Friday & Saturday evenings until 12am.“

A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.“

“Yesterday we had a fabulous dinner at KOI SUSHI THAI, EAST in Nashville….. it was wonderful! We started with Squid Salad and Gyoza then ate our way through totally yummy Crab Bang, YumYum, Eel Nigiri, White Tuna, & Sweet Shrimp… crunchy and delicious! Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“

“The restaurant is located among a row of shops. We stopped by during lunch time on a Thursday and there was no wait and sat immediately. It was decorated in modern Asian style and seating was somewhat close together and brightly lit. We ordered 2 speciality sushi - ‘The green dragon roll’ and one ‘All-in Roll’ and one chicken teriyaki entree with miso soup and side salad.
The miso soup and salad was meh just standard. The chicken entree was flavorful.
All the sushi was delicious. It was made fresh at time of ordering. The service was good and overall we enjoyed our experience and would come back.“

I place a call to Rice box they said my food was already done it wasn't but a few minutes after I placed order.. when the order got picked up they said that it was cooked extra spicy and extra crispy. pitched the food will not be back.“

“My cousin and I met here for the Art N Soul event and it was so fun! I live in Nashville and my cousin lives in Lebanon. The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere was excellent. There was live music, a live painter, and the intimate seating encourages conversation. We sat outside on the terrace which is beautiful! You're in the city and the hotel is swanky but not pretentious. I felt safe and welcome. This is a perfect place to meet up with friends or family or for a date. I would like to come here again for future events.“
