“My husband and I went to purchase a boneless pre-sliced ham for Thanksgiving which was pretty good. We paid around $56 for it. While there, I also tried their Turkey Pot Pie, but it wasn't that good to me. It was very bland and lacked flavor. However, I would go back to purchase another ham.“

“Last week, my husband and I finally made our first lunch visit to the Glade Diner in Gladeville, and it completely lived up to the small town buzz. The parking lot was packed and every table was full when we walked in, which is usually a great sign. The gal at the front desk let us know there would be a short wait, and sure enough, about 10 minutes later we were seated. We overheard that they were short staffed due to a callout, but honestly, you would not have known it from how smoothly things were moving. Our waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she got our order in quickly despite juggling multiple tables. My husband went with the hot club sandwich and fries, and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings. Let me just say, the food came out fast and absolutely delivered. My husband’s sandwich had that picture perfect cheese pull moment that you hope for but rarely get, and it tasted just as good as it looked! My chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the onion rings truly stole the show. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, lightly seasoned, and just the right texture with every bite. Easily some of the best I have ever had. It is easy to see why this place stays busy. The Glade Diner has that classic, well-loved feel where good food and friendly service come together in the best way. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again just to work your way through the menu. We are already looking forward to our next visit.“

Great vibes from everyone, great place to catch some Karaoke on a Friday night, and root on the Titans on Sunday afternoon. You are more than just a customer to them, you are family. And it is shown by the owner who will personally walk around and speak with every person that is at the restaurant! I would recommend this place for everyone who lives in Mt. “We visited this location on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was very understaffed. But this did not hinder us from getting top-notch service. We did make sure to have patience but everything came out piping hot and exactly as we ordered it with excellent taste. What was most memorable was the way that the staff helped each other to keep things afloat. We were direct eyeshot from the kitchen and you could see everyone working diligently and still keeping the space clean. We had about a 15-minute wait for a party of two. We were greeted within 5 minutes of sitting down and appetizers and drinks came out promptly. Everyone was friendly and outgoing. They definitely didn't appear to be under pressure. Great food! Awesome staff. I really enjoyed the pretzels with the beer cheese. We had zucchini fries which tastes more like fried green beans. Aunt the fried pickles as an appetizer. Every part of the meal was good. We could barely finish. We ended up taking to go boxes“

“They get a star off only because I hate their bar top chairs. I will say they are over sized and very heavy, there is zero chance of someone leaning back in them and falling over but there is also zero space between which makes getting in and out of them difficult. Fingers getting pinched between is a thing too.
I stop in for lunch once in a while amd every so often after work. Food is generally spot on per the menu descriptions. Eat-in or carry-out.“

“I have been coming to this Steak ‘n Shake for 10+ years and it has only gotten better and better. The switch to beef tallow for the fries and grass fed beef has enhanced the experience so much. If you haven’t had Steak ‘n Shake in awhile give it another try and support this business. It’s one of my favorites!“
