“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“Great experience at Pelican and Pig! We sat at the chef's counter and found it very interesting to be able to watch the crew work and ask a few questions. They were very personable. Our server was great as well. We loved how the courses were separated so that we were able to enjoy each dish on its own. Having never had corn ribs before, we were blown away by how good they were. In fact, everything we tried was delicious. The ribeye steak though... one of the best steaks we have ever had. Highly recommend Pelican and Pig!“

“I was in the Nashville location on 1/28 during my visit to the area. It was packed but everything moved quickly, efficiently and the staff was so very friendly to everyone. That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“

1. Cucumber Hibiscus Negroni 11 (mocktail)
A not too sweet, refreshing non-alcoholic drink. Perfect.

2. Bread & Butter 6 (Parker roll)
Very good. Butter is slightly sweet and goes well with salt & pepper on top of the bread. Highly recommended.

3. Etch 10
The signature salad that crowns its own name. It has accents of blue cheese, melon, and nuts. It could have been with a little less dressing but still very good and can be recommended.

4. Chef’s Creation 56 (mahi-mahi)
Cooked just right to have a crispy skin. Potatoes were also made crispy outside and I couldn’t stop having more. Again it could have had a little less sauce but still it was very good.

5. Chocolate Mousse Bar (à la mode with ice cream) 13(+3)
It was rather an ordinary sweet chocolate cake.“

“Beautiful experience in a beautiful space. The open concept with the pristine kitchen right in the middle. Watching the chefs work to deliver unique presentations. Service was outstanding. It shows that all staff really love what they do. It is hard to describe the dishes, you just have to experience them. I’d recommend the feast.“

“While visiting family in Nashville we dined at Gunnons. This was my second visit, and I again was not disappointed. The prime rib is superb and much more than I could eat. Our table shared the eggplant olivia and I have to say that it is the best eggplant dish I have ever eaten.“

“This place is the golden time capsule that Nashville always needs. You couldn't convince me my grandmother (God rest her southern soul) didn't go back there and make my biscuits and gravy.

The food is classic, old-school Southern good-eats. Doesn't get any better or simpler. I got the full Ultimate breakfast platter, and let me tell you that you'd better be famished 🤣. It's so much food for $15, I fought with it for about 45 minutes but lost in the end to it's gargantuan size.

The staff is above-and-beyond charming, experienced, and overall what's missing from modern customer service post-COVID. If you haven't been here, stop what you're doing and go.

“This was a highlight of our girls trip to Nashville. The songwriters were so engaging & great story tellers. We were able to hear some well known songs as well as some originals. We had a great time!!“

The mocktails here were great–they had a substantial amount of options and NA beers, as well. I loved my NA spritz.

We got the carrots, straciatella, and the white fish dip. The carrots were great! The white fish dip and the straciatella were fine–not super exciting or memorable. We also got this squash pizza (phenomenal) and the hot honey pep pie (also very good.)

We then rounded it all out with some tiramisu and the chocolate cake slice. Both were good, but again not really memorable. Overall a solid meal.“

“We went for a day after Valentine's Day dinner just in case they were busy yesterday. The arrechara steak and pollo al carbon were well seasoned and very tasty. We shared a baked potato and street corn sides that were just the right amount to share and complimented the proteins well.

Our server was Lauren and she was attentive and helpful, since I have celiac disease and she made sure I knew what to avoid.

“we went to this restraunt during my husband's work party last night and it was amazing! the drinks were made so fast! they were made very well, you can tell that the bar tender really takes the drinks seriously in the best way! :) their very social and kind, they were super calm even through everyone getting their and getting drinks prepped and sent out, then the food was a solid 9/10! for me personally I'm a picky person but i loved just about everything, the servers and host were also very kind I wish I had gotten all their names to reccomend! the bar tenders name was Christian and he was truly wonderful at his job, my favorite was the creme Brule dessert, it was sweet and smooth and crunchy and perfect, I truly reccomend this place for a calm or social event where your able to truly relax in a wonderful little place ❤️ also the alcohol selection was really nicely selected i had tried the spicy sangria, pomegranate margarita, polar pear & blackberry something, they were also so good about telling the ingredients and what they like about the drinks makes it an easier selection, or they have bourbon for those who love a strong smooth drink“

“This is well known in the Nashville area. Had lunch there, no wait as we were there about 11:30 am. About an hour later, there was a wait.. but well worth it. It's a place you just need to go to to experience how it was back in t he 50's on Hwy 100! Staff was awesome, food fantastic!“

“We came to Nashville on vacation. This was our first food stop and it was so good that we came back 2 days later while staying in Nashville. The employees are friendly and attentive. We had drinks at the bar our first visit, and I had never had such delicious and well presented cocktails before. The bartender knew what he was doing and was a pleasure to speak with. The dogs are to die for; the burgers and fries did not disappoint either. 10/10 would recommend!“
