My sister and brother-in-law came in from Memphis to celebrate my birthday, and everything—from the food to the service—was outstanding, as always. We were also fortunate to meet the owner, Tommy, who took the time to stop by our table. He went above and beyond to make the evening feel extra special, which made the celebration even more memorable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience—we’ll definitely be back! “The customer service was somewhat subpar this time, we were never asked if we needed anything we always had to reach out to advise when we wanted to order or needed service. However, the manager was nice and she checked on us a couple of times.“

“Our first visit to Blue Moon Waterfront Grille was a pleasant surprise, especially considering we live nearby and didn't even know it was there! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and seated us immediately, which was great since we were all hungry. After placing our order, the food arrived incredibly fast, and it was clear that everything was prepared fresh. I ordered the catfish, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—and I’ve eaten a lot of catfish! Our picky daughter even enjoyed her meal, which is always a challenge. The outdoor seating gave us a beautiful view of the lake, adding to the overall ambiance. “Ordered. A fish and shrimp combo which is supposed to come with two pieces of fish and six pieces of shrimp. I got one piece of fish and five pieces of shrimp. For my side, I chose corn on the cob that I think had been sitting around for a week. The hush puppies tasted like they were straight up cornmeal that was fried. Not sure what happened with this location. It used to be the testing ground for corporate to try new menu items. Now the food quality has deteriorated so much that I probably will not return.“

From entering & being warmly welcomed, to excellent cocktails & mocktails with Nicholas at the bar... the night started well. The decor & theme were well done in this historic building. All the staff knew the history and proudly shared it. Mason was an outstanding server and we were well pleased with our food and wine at dinner. Our table had Eggplant Parm, Lamb chop and the NYStrip, after wedge salads. We shared roasted mushrooms and creamed spinach sides, ample portion for 4 people to share. The pianist was a nice bonus, and the volume was perfect. We were able to have conversation without the music being overly loud. Julian, the manager, gave us an extra tour after dinner, to answer questions we had. Will hope to come back, when in town.“

“I’ve been coming to this drive thru for years, and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Since the fish is cooked to order, it might take a few extra minutes but it’s well worth the wait. The service is friendly, and they really take pride in what they do. One of my favorite spots.“

“I just left from captain d's on Jefferson street.. Got to the window for my order and the lady did not give add my sweet tea. Instead of giving me a sweet tea she told me i needed drive back around and order another sweet tea in the back of the line for a mistake that she made. What kind of mess is that??? she was a short skinny black lady with glasses and a wig. I want my tea.“

“Our server Heather was one of the best I have ever experienced. When my steak came which I ordered med. I cut into it and it was well done, Heather noticed it before I had a chance to let her know and she ordered a new one for me which came out perfect. Her Mgr was excellent as well and they wound up not charging me for the steak. We had the sides of crisply Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes , also excellent.“
