Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, he struck the perfect balance and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. The food and drinks were just as impressive. We tried a few cocktails, and they were perfectly balanced and beautifully made. The Wagyu burger and truffle fries were incredibly flavorful. The sausage pizza was also delicious. Between the excellent food and Jorge’s exceptional service, The Kennedy easily earns a spot on our go-to list in Knoxville. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first time trying Afgani food. It was delicious! We had the Rom bowl with beef and chicken and rice pudding. My son loved the presentation of the bread sealed bowl- he was surprised to find all of the rice and meat inside of the bread. The rice was cooked perfectly.

“Their lamb is a mix of beef and lamb. If you aren't a fan of lamb, you will likely enjoy their lamb. It's worth the taste exploration. It doesn't have the off putting lamb flavor that some people are sensitive to. Try it. It's good. And the employee servers were friendly and animated.”

“We went to the mall to walk and have dinner last night. We had never seen this place but decided to try it out! I had the pulled pork sandwich with cornbread and chips, and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich with cornbread, baked beans and coleslaw. It was very good southern BBQ. I loved the sweet cornbread because it was just the right amount of sweet and not dry. It was a very good change from your typical mall food court options. They are locally owned and not a chain and a great place to take a break from the busyness of the mall. They are located just across from Great American Cookie Company next to the Cinnebare entrance. The customer service was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be back!”

But wait, there's more. I challenge you to try their chocolate shakes which are not dispensed out of a machine. I'd be shocked if you didn't say, "The best I ever had!"”

“We stumbled upon this place while we were looking for a local place to grab breakfast. You do want to be there early as it is a first come, first serve - one man shop. The blueberry breakfast sandwich and blueberry biscuits were buttery and soft. Excellent experience and we will be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Went here for the first time last night and it was fantastic. The parmentier de canard (duck with mashed potatoes) was probably one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The ratatouille was also quite nice, though maybe a bit overpriced. The fromager came to our table and helped us select cheeses, which were amazing. French onion soup—what can I say? They know what they’re doing. Superb. The gateau Basque—wow. So creamy and flavorful, yet subtle. Even the espresso was great. Oh, and don’t forget the baguette and butter! Served warm in a paper wrapper…yum. Fantastic service from Nichole and the rest of the staff. The decor is beautiful Euro-bohemian. Cozy velvet booths, gorgeous art deco chandeliers, warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!”
