“Our family had a great time visiting English Mountain Trout Farm last weekend. The outdoor space around the trout farm was pretty and had shady spots for us to avoid the hot sun while we fished. The staff were friendly and helpful and ensured we all got a great catch! It was great for adults and kids. All of us enjoyed our time and we plan to come back! We all got the blackened trout and it was delicious. Worth the price for the experience and a tasty lunch. Seating was comfortable and it was a nice place (off the beaten path) to spend a couple of hours. Parking spaces are limited, so come early during busy seasons!“

For starters we were served a cast iron pan of cornbread with butter The sampler platter had meatloaf , pulled pork, greens and mashed potatoes. it came with a bowl of Brunswick stew and a side bowl of pinto beans. It was amazing. So much food for the value. We both left stuffed. The server was friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend this stop while in DW. you won't be disappointed.“

“Great place for lunch and dinner. And singing birds every half hour is funny and not to loud. Perfect for kids they would get a kick out of the bird’s. Also food was great especially the chicken and waffles probably one of the best I have ever had. Girlfriend had a good experience with her breakfast also she had the eggs and sausage breakfast.“

“The food was very good, but I can’t believe that u should have your dog set on a chair and then let it eat off the table, I love dogs and cats, but there’s a cut off point at some time.“
