“Our family had a great time visiting English Mountain Trout Farm last weekend. The outdoor space around the trout farm was pretty and had shady spots for us to avoid the hot sun while we fished. The staff were friendly and helpful and ensured we all got a great catch! It was great for adults and kids. All of us enjoyed our time and we plan to come back! We all got the blackened trout and it was delicious. Worth the price for the experience and a tasty lunch. Seating was comfortable and it was a nice place (off the beaten path) to spend a couple of hours. Parking spaces are limited, so come early during busy seasons!“

“We had a long wait...we were able to sit on the porch and relax while we waited. When we were finally seated we were taken back by the beauty of the barn. Seating is rustic as the are farm table with a bench...but the food....where do I begin. The flavor was next level...the portions were more than generous...and the service was top notch!!!“

For starters we were served a cast iron pan of cornbread with butter The sampler platter had meatloaf , pulled pork, greens and mashed potatoes. it came with a bowl of Brunswick stew and a side bowl of pinto beans. “Food was excellent as well as the customer service. It would have rated a 5 star overall except the bathroom has an odd setup. It was clean and stocked, but was a little odd in the layout and took a minute. The steak and potatoes on the other hand were perfect. Cooked to exactly medium rare, seasoned just right, and the baked potato was just right too. Also, the spinach dip was one of the best I e ever had.“
