I love the space and how flexible they are with working with any event hosted there. It is extremely dog and family friendly. We moved here 3 years ago from Southern California and fell in love with the Local as we live right up the street, for 2 years we had dinner there every Friday night and loved the entertainment,during football season we were there every Saturday and Sunday for lunch or dinner for Football, we stopped going for dinner on Fridays when the menu changed, but still stopped in on a Saturday or Sunday for lunch and cocktails, yesterday Saturday the first home Vols game they did not have,so no more Saturdays because we can watch it at home but really enjoyed watching it at the Local, so we watched it at home, today we went to the Local to watch the Saints game and have lunch, they we very short handed and couldn't get the Saints game, we are so disappointed in the Local Eatery that we will NEVER patronize them again, it amazes me how in 1 year a Local staple can go from being a place that local Boyd's Creek residents gathered to enjoy friends and family to a restaurant that is such a disappointment.“

“I’ve been coming to this brewery since I first moved to South Knoxville 7 years ago. It’s been a staple in South Knox for a good reason. From their ample selection of good beers (my husband loves their Kolsch) to their large outdoor patio space (fire pits, string lights, and tons of picnic tables), it is a great place to come and hang. This used to be our soccer bar but that’s since moved. However, that doesn’t stop us from coming by. The staff are super friendly and always are welcoming. Dog friendly indoors and outside, which makes this one of the few places you can bring your dog even on bad weather days. If you only have one weekend to check out Knoxville, this is a must visit!“

“Wow - I cannot express what a wonderful experience we had at the pizza barn tonight. My child has a dairy allergy (lol why we took her to a dairy farm I’m not really sure) and Marley, the assistant manger, went above and beyond to help us find something that she could eat. She even went so far as to make the food herself so she could assure us it would be made properly. I’ve always been impressed by the quality of and enjoyed the food at the Pizza Barn but this experience took things to a new level of excellence!“

“Idk what yal put in the szechuan tofu bc I've never had it before but it's AMAZING I will be back and it cost us less than 30 dollars for 2 meals at dinner time, im genuinely so thankful to have found a nice spot close to home. “The store was busy as all get out people where in line out the door and a cute red headed lady was running the place like a general leading the troops to battle she sent one waitress per each flank and I swear those hashbrownd didn't know what hit em they found themselves scattered, smotherd and coverd before they knew what hit em and to add insult to injury that cute red headed waitress/cook chopped pepperd cappd and finally topped like nobody's buisness. I do declare that fine little red headed filly then comensed singing the waffle house song while she washed every dish in the place 3 times all by herself. “Ok, so I eat at Buddy's BBQ all the time. So today I go to the Bearden location for an early lunch. Get my food and drink and go to a table by the windows. As I am sitting there eating, small black ants are crawling everywhere, along the windows sills and even on my table while I was trying to eat. I killed about 3 . I did notice ants were on other tables along the windows. Plus the windows sills were dirty and nasty. Number 2, the TV was on and extremely loud....and what was on ? Sports!!!! Men yacking back and forth as fast as they could talk. Not everyone enjoys listening and watching sports in every restaurant in town!!!!!“

“About 3 yrs ago we would go here a couple times a week, and it started to get bad food wasn't up to Shiney standard, service was poor quality, and the waitress were unatintive to our needs. So we didn't go back until a couple of weeks ago and we noticed the difference in food ,service and overall cleanliness,the food was good and hot more to standard. Today 5/17/24 we stopped while in Knoxville and It was a wonderful experience , food was great, service was outstanding, and the waitresses we on top of everything, the salad bar person was in that area the whole time keeping food and salads fixings fresh.. Today was a wonderful experience at Shoneys, I made a point to let the manager know this....GREAT JOB To the manager and staff at Shoneys Rutledge Pike. We were there at around 3/3:30 pm.“
