“Their sign is very enticing & I'll always choose a mom & pop over a chain restaurant so I accompanied a couple coworkers for lunch. The woman taking orders was abrupt, but not rude. I opted for the lunch special: chuckwagon sandwich, onion rings & drink for $6.99. Our food was ready sooner than expected with a bit of a crowd in the restaurant. The chuckwagon sandwich was tasty with lettuce, tomato & the perfect amount of mayo. Onion rings were actual onions with a smooth, crunchy batter & were still piping hot when I received them. Although not the best lunch I've had working in this area, I would definitely return & would recommend this restaurant for a tasty, no-frills meal.“

“Great place to eat. Very caring people to work for. When busy they don't care one bit to jump in were needed. I can say out of all the jobs I've had in my life I don't dread going into work. I'm always anywhere from 20 to 15 mins early. I don't care to stay over. Very positive place to work as well. Everyone works together and always encourage each other.“

“We have eaten at White Duck Taco locations in Asheville, NC, and Chattanooga, TN, so when we saw there was one in Johnson City - attached to Yee Haw Brewing no less! - we knew this was our dinner spot on a recent trip. Did not disappoint. All the tacos are good but we loved the Bahn Mi and the Shrimp and Grits tacos! White Duck’s menu is fun, creative, affordable, and always tasty.“

“My husband & I come to Johnson City for his treatment at VAMC, Mountain Home. We stopped at this location & had the most delicious meal. Kahner gave us excellent service & Krystal is top notch at the grill. If my husband has an appetite after his appointment, his favorite meal is from Waffle House. “It was late and I was out with a couple friends so we decided to check this place out. I been to many Charley's but this one was one of the best! Food came out super hot and they really fill those sandwiches up! Definitely will be going there again.“

“I was there before there food was cold and not good but the last time i was there there was new people working there and they were very nice and the service was great and the food came out hot and fresh so if you havent ate at captain ds in jonesbourgh in a while you should try it again they gone up hill instead of down hill they was going down hill now there going up hill i told them today about the services they were great today the man at the front desk said he inly been there 2 weeks he was very nice the food tasted great and fresh was not cold was all hot and fresh 5 stars all the way“
