“This place has just become our new favorite local spot, let’s start the ambiance and overall vibe, this place is one of those places you come to unwind after a hard week. The manager Joe and the staff are a model for front of the house hospitality. The staff make you feel welcome, loved and part of the tavern. I just moved here to Dallas 1 year ago and this place is a top tier establishment. Now that you are family, let’s get to the food! I’ve had the wings ( crispy , well sauced and amazing ) and the burgers! This place is beyond amazing! Don’t sleep on this place!! Karaoke was soooo fun too! “This place has been a terrific addition in the last few years to our community… The Shishido peppers will not disappoint you and the pizza here is fantastic… Over the years we’ve had so many different gray things on the menu like the pot pie or the pasta… It’s all terrific… We enjoy sitting at the bar during happy hour… I think they’ve got like half-price wine during happy hour and they’ll leave and let you order a full bottle so it makes for a great evening for the wife… Definitely a fun vibe to get out of the house and disconnect for a bit… Recommend 100%“

“$6 per breakfast taco with everything on it. Tastes homemade. They make the taco fresh right in front of you. Customizable. Restaurant is bare bones, but it's all you really need for a morning breakfast to go. They have a much more limited menu now. Just basic breakfast. Really nice people. No tables or seats.“

“I love the plant based options and the fresh and nutritious food choices. Some of my favs are teriyaki quinoa bowl, kale salad, charred cauliflower and vegan double cheeseburger. I had the ancient grain bowl Sunday and it’s a new favorite. The squash pie is sooo delicious! I never feel guilty when I eat at True Food Kitchen because I can make healthy choices.“

“The chicken soup was not as flavorful as I would’ve expected. We didn’t like one of the drinks they served us, but they wouldn’t even be courteous enough to change it for something different. Prices are expensive for the flavorless foods. The Tajadas were good though and The Baleadas too, but the service is mediocre. BTW, The bathrooms were super dirty plus no toilet paper. Yuck!“

“Kids eat for $1.99 on Sundays. The chicken tenders are good the Fry's are good. The hot wings are good. Also the chicken and waffles are delicious and the combo is 5.99 on Wednesday. My kids like the food here. What I don't like is you have to ask for key to use the restroom. They use to have tvs playing the sports shows and now they are always off. They use to have jazz music playing and now they don't. At the other slims chickens the tvs work and the restrooms are unlocked.“

“I went on Sunday Afternoon and there was an after church lunch rush, but no wait to be sat down. Our waiter was Zorell (I hope I am spelling this right, but he was busy and I didnt have time to ask) and he was phenomenal. He had really good reccomendations for alcoholic beverages and appetizers. His knowledge was incredibly helpful, because we had never been to a Cheddar's location before. He made great conversation and was on top of keeping drinks filled. Our food came out quickly despite the restaurant being very full. I would absolutely return and ask for him every time. Give this man employee of the month, and if you're seeing this, we're the trucker couple!“
