I sometimes have unusual hours. one morning I stopped here well before they had opened up and even though the were preparing for the day they opened up and made me breakfast. “This place exceeded expectations on every level. Atmosphere was cozy for date night dinner before my wife and I went to see Nate Bargatze. The Food at all ends were alive with flavor kicking. The service was attentive and caring, just excellent. We started with The spinach artichoke dip. amazing, the chips (I believe their famous Italian nacho chips and homemade Garlic bread slices came together like a flavor family. My wife ordered the Primavera with chicken and the cream Parmesan sauce. out worldly, amazing. I would eat that sauce on everything. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Penne. A wonderful fusion of Sharp sundried tomatoes, sauteed Garlic cloves sauce and chicken. the spice was excellent as well, not overpowering like the star of the show, but rather a supporting actor that let you know they were there. The portions were very generous. don't expect to finish your entire dish, we went hungry and left with 1/3 of each of our entrees. I would recommend this place to anyone in Dallas, or going to Dallas..I would even recommend to the owners to venture down to Houston, as we could use this in our city. You would be missing out if you didn't come through this place at least once.“

“My mom and I stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday around noon and, to our surprise, were seated right away. We decided to split the gumbo and a Connecticut-style lobster roll.

Now, as a native New Orleanian, I’m very picky about gumbo. I almost didn’t order it because I know how high my standards are (Chef Paul Prudhomme’s method taught me how to make a proper dark roux by hand, and I still swear by it). But their gumbo? Exceptional. Spicy, layered with flavor, and honestly one of the best I’ve had outside of New Orleans. I not only finished my cup but polished off my mom’s too.

The lobster roll was a little on the small side, but paired with the gumbo it was the perfect lunch. We even saved room for a celebratory lemon cake—compliments of the house—for my mom’s birthday. A sweet ending to an unexpectedly great meal.“

“Had dinner at Pappas Bros Steakhouse and it was truly a memorable evening. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and intimate, with just the right level of sophistication and sufficient lighting. The art deco style was very appealing and elegant.
For starters, we shared the crab cakes, which were cooked to perfection—sweet, tender, and utterly delicious. For our main courses, I ordered the the ribeye, cooked medium-rare, and it was a 10/10. The steak was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seared. We paired our meals with the lobster Mac and cheese and asparagus.
We left feeling completely satisfied and look forward to returning.“

“Horrible customer service experience tonight at CAVA. We’ve never been to the new CAVA by our house. So we thought we’d take a walk over there and give it a try. We walked in and there were four employees behind the counter. I don’t know how much more obvious we could’ve been that we were brand new to the CAVA experience, but not one of the four employees even greeted us. We took a moment to look at the menu and decided to have the lemon chicken bowl, and the falafel wrap. There were no prices listed for drinks. You should fix that. We literally had to stand there while they kept walking around looking at us and not even saying hello. Finally someone asked if they could help us. I said I’d like the falafel wrap and he promptly walked away without asking what my dining companion wanted. We didn’t know where to stand so we went back to the beginning of the service line. Finally the second guy asked if there was something else we wanted. I told him I wanted the lemon chicken bowl as well. They made up our food silently, no eye contact, no conversation. We got to the checkout and the lady was absolutely unhelpful and unfriendly. We paid for our meal and went and sat down. The food was delicious but the inhospitable attitude of the staff was palpable and disappointing. Something needs to be done about the greeting and ordering experience. Systems need to be in place where people feel welcome. If the food weren’t so good, I definitely would never go back. I’m hoping someone will see this and make some effort to put a system in place where people are made to feel welcome at these new restaurants, otherwise, you are doomed. There are literally five other restaurants in the shopping center where this new CAVA is located. If customers want to be treated better, and they only will be treated better at other restaurants, CAVA will close down very quickly.“

Are awesome!!!! this will forever be my go to when visiting Dallas/Addison, Texas. the Smoky maple bacon old fashioned is amazing. this drink brings back the memories of sitting around a campfire at deer camp telling tall tales with good friends. Stan and Kade make sure you feel at home and have the best experience of all time. Filipinos and other nationalities all over the Dallas ForthWorth and surrounding cities visits them to dine in and to order to go. The owner Jay & Candy are both professionals by trade and has an excellent personalities. They are known for their friendly ambience. They are one of the oldest Filipino American restaurant. I recommend their amazing breakfast menu. Their especialty of bachoy, my fav corned beef and ube pancake for dessert. I gave Maries Kitchen a rating of 10 out of 10. Anywho, we ordered a small deep dish meatlovers with a salad. (Since we dined in, our salad was plain with ranch, but still hella good, but if you take it home, you can add your own razzle dazzle- They have no salt/pepper, but no big deal)...had a good ol school orange Sunkist on the side, that hit the spot after bite...I felt like a satisfied Ninja Turtle lol I'm still sitting here leaving this review. 5 stars, will return ✨️ ?
