“Sad to say that I might not be back. Got my shake with none of the mix-ins I ordered (thankfully they don't charge extra for them) but I had already left, wasn't really worth going back for. At least the pint flavor was correct. I do feel for the lady working the counter, 1 person to manage an entire Saturday is a lot but still. The ice cream itself is fantastic.

UPDATE (09/18/2024): I have been reached out to by the location and am happy to report my second visit was much better! Would recommend just be mindful about the days and time you order.“

“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“OMG… I tell you what. This is the best. Most flavorful. Creamiest of all the ice creams I’ve slighted in throughout my travels. The unique flavors made my mouth happy in a way only my wife can. My son is a connoisseur of the chocolate ice cream (he gets the bad taste from his mother of course), and it is “The best… better than blue bell.”

Sam was so helpful and smothered us in recommendations and samples. I asked if we could leave the kids for a quick date, but their customer service has limits I guess.

“I got addicted to their LG or gigantic banana shake, kinda still am. Best shake I've ever tasted, so so good. Add about the nicest friendliest employees and managers a place could have. It's an all win at the Preston road in Frankfort location North Dallas! When the main manager I believe sees me coming, he goes back and starts my shake. If you like a good milkshake, try this thick shake, and then you can thank me Paul - later.“

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“

My son had banana and while I had that I also added the pumpkin pie and vanilla flavors. They paired AMAZINGLY! My husband had the cookies flavor and was also very happy! “Really nice selection of Indian and non Indian themed ice creams. We came across this chain out in Allen outlets and found that they have several locations across DFW. The staff at the Irving location are always pleasant and really helpful we always feel welcome. We bring friends and family to enjoy a scoop of their ice cream. Highly recommend checking them out“

I saw some previous reviews on sweetness. I’m an American who has lived in Asia, so that being said, the first swig felt like it could use a touch more sweetness, but by the second slurp I was back in my Asian element & it was perfect. If you’re accustomed to super sugary drinks, this may not hit the spot, but I found it delicious and refreshing.“

“I rented a paleta cart for about 150 paletas. The price was reasonable and the fact you get it for 25 helps you make it back in time to return the cart once you're done. All the paletas were delicious! Everyone loved them at our Sweet 16! Thank you guys for making it memorable! Highly recommend them for the paleta carts and all their food and desserts!“

“I went just before noon and was the only one in there. The lady that was working was very nice and knowledgeable. I tried the Dutch chocolate, cookies and crème, and cake batter (I think it was). All very good! Fair pricing compared to similar places. The only thing I did not like was their location. It’s in a newer shopping center with apartments behind it. Parking is hard with a couple restaurants by them. There is a parking garage around the corner but I didn’t look to see if it cost or not. And who wants to walk half a mile from where you park just to get froyo! But it was very tasty and very clean inside! Since you control what you get, you can control how much you want to spend if you’re careful.“
