The crunchiness of the breading made me think rice, but I don’t know. I had the masala burger which was good, but it was messy so I’d order without the mango chutney (very sweet and messy).“

“Going to Bliss is always an amazing experience. Chef Tony Hernandez and his team are true culinary artists. From start to finish, everything was flawless. We began with tuna tartare, octopus, and oyster sliders—each dish layered with bold, inventive flavors that felt almost otherworldly. For entrées, my wife had the duck with foie gras while I went with the shrimp and grits; both were executed with absolute precision. Service was, as always, warm, attentive, and impeccable. Without question, Bliss remains my favorite fine dining destination in San Antonio.“

“Fantastic food and great service. The crab Rangoon were on the small side but perfectly fried. I had the Tom Yum soup, which had an odd sweetness to it, but was tasty otherwise. The crispy tofu were well-cooked. My partner had the Flying Tiger chicken with orange sauce, which had the best tempura breading I've ever had in my life. It was also a massive dish that easily served the two of us and left me taking some of my soup home to finish.

It's a small restaurant but everything was cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be returning, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal to warm themselves up with.

“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. When it comes to the soup; they have two types of noodles, wide or thin and spice levels ranging from 1-5. I prefer thin and spice level 2 to leave room to make it spicier with the tasty hot oil they provide at the table. 😊“

Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. “Had always eyeballed this place and got tickets as a gift from my son. From the minute, we stepped in there, until the minute we left, I was grinning from ear to ear. It is very special to be around people who genuinely love what they do and that is apparent from the minute Doc Watkins and the band step on the stage.

We were fortunate enough to catch a little bit of Christmas music and a little bit of jazz and it was all wonderful. I will be counting the days until I return.“
