It was absolutely perfect from the decadent Brioche bun, the rich crispy but light batter, the juicy chicken, perfectly sweet slaw and sauce with JUST the right amount of heat. When they sat it in front of me I didn't think I could eat it all it was so large.... but it was TOO PERFECT to not enjoy the entire thing. I only wish they were in Austin also. The service was exceptional from the start! Emily, the sweetest cashier ever, greeted us with a huge smile. Since it was our first time, she patiently offered great recommendations and even let us sample a sauce. After ordering, Juan and Julio were just as helpful confirming our choices and offering honest advice! They DIDN'T disappoint!
The food was amazing. The boiled shrimp, corn, and potatoes were all phenomenal, and my absolute favorites were the boudin balls and the snow crab.

We like the seafood well enough, yet service should be exceptional at a seafood restaurant. Service was anything but that tonight. Even setting at the bar it took over 10 minutes and a call to the manager to get drinks while we waited on our table. Once we were seated at the table, the waiter was courteous, except I'll be damned if he would take one single dirty dish or glass from the table. And seriously, nobody should have to ask their waiter or waitress 2 or 3 times for anything. Once, seriously should be enough. I hate to say this, but after going here for over 15 years, I think it's time to move on.“

We've ordered from JB's for over 13 years. Never had an issue!!! Never had bad food or bad service or an issue with the prices.
The staff is super friendly! The delivery lady has practically watched my kids grow up lol

“Ok so def mixed feelings about here. Pozole, chilaquiles, quesadillas and watermelon lemonade were all literally amazing. No doubt food was on point. Here’s my concerns. No chips until we were sitting there for 20 mins. We also waited 42 mins for our food. Table behind us got the same thing and got their food before us. I went up there and said something and from one server I was told “I don’t know what’s going on”. Then cashier told me “she would check and she didn’t know what was going on”. Cashier was sweet and did try to help. I think they skipped our order and when she went back there that’s when they made it. Food is a 9.5. My drink was a 10. Service is a 2! If we weren’t in such a hurry, it probably wouldn’t have been as big of a deal but because it made us late for a baby shower it definitely was a big deal. I’ll def be back and hopefully the experience will be better.“

Our server Tracy was the best she took the time to explain the non seafood items on the menu and I went with the chicken pasta. It was so good. “We went to BB.s Webster Father’s Day. There was a wait but not to long. We had a party of 8 and were set in a young man’s section I don’t remember his name but he was nice. Our food was very good! But, the manager that was there her name was Tammy was amazing. It was busy she saw that we were needing a few things came right over and took care of us and everyone around us the rest of the evening. She Is Very Impressive to watch! “Hello, fabulous Floyds family!

I have been visiting Floyds for many, many years, starting with the Heights location (I believe it went from Floyds Cajun Shack to the Mardi Gras Cafe, then to Floyds Seafood). I got my parents hooked on Floyds when they moved to Pearland, and also also converted my sister (who lives in the UK). We make a point to go any time she's in town visiting. While my parents have both passed now, I am still a regular and love so many of the menu items. My weekend tradition is to visit a restaurant for lunch and read for about an hour as I eat and Floyds has always been in my rotation.

I could rave about/beg you to bring back the Akaushi steak, or ramble on about the exquisite crab bisque, or the sensational creamy crab dill salmon with asparagus, but this review is about this past Sunday's lunch experience (8/3/25). To give you some context, I recently began chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. What that means is that my immune system is compromised to the point that I can no longer have many of the things I usually eat at a restaurant (medium rare steak, side salads, etc.). Part of my dietary restrictions specify that any steak I order must be cooked at least medium/145 degrees.

This was my first Floyds visit since starting chemo and I was blessed to have Anna as my server. I explained how I really wanted the Wagyu steak but there were specific criteria that were necessary due to chemo. She listened to me, she heard what I was saying (especially my half-joking comment about how medium rare is the ONLY way to eat a steak), and assured me that the kitchen would be appraised of the situation. Not once did I feel like I was bothering her, being a pest, taking up too much of her time, being high maintenance, etc. She even took a phone pic of the poster in the kitchen showing the doneness levels/temperatures of steak.

When my meal arrived, Anna came back as soon as she could to assure me that the kitchen had verified the temperature before plating it, and asked if it was cooked properly (it SO was). I know it wasn't my usual medium rare steak but it still tasted absolutely amazing. I am firmly of the opinion that there were magic spices involved in the preparation of said steak.

Anna continued to swing by my table, never being intrusive, just wonderfully attentive, warm, and caring. I felt like I was dining at a friend's house, not a restaurant. I told her that she was one of the BEST servers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and that I would ask to be seated in her section the next time I came back. This was a master class in customer service, putting the diner first, and being incredibly gracious with her time.

My hope is that Anna and her supervisor(s) get to read this and know what an amazing job she is doing. Because of her service, I can feel confident eating at Floyd's, despite my dietary restrictions/limitations, and know that my meal will be as top notch as the service.

“Swamp Shack has delicious seafood. The oysters are excellent, and red fish is tasty. Even the veggies are seasoned just right. Our food server was attentive and friendly. The only request I have is to please repair the tear in the seat, as it is a health Hazzard and infection risk.
Overall, this is a place we come to to fulfill that seafood craving.“
